hw/pci/Kconfig says MSI_NONBROKEN should be selected by interrupt
controllers regardless of how MSI is implemented. msi_nonbroken is
initialized to true in sifive_plic_realize().
Let SIFIVE_PLIC select MSI_NONBROKEN and drop the selection from
RISC-V machines.

The system controller on PolarFire SoC is access via a mailbox. The
control registers for this mailbox lie in the "IOSCB" region & the
interrupt is cleared via write to the "SYSREG" region. It also has a
QSPI controller, usually connected to a flash chip, that is used for
storing FPGA bitstreams and used for In-Application Programming (IAP).
Linux has an implementation of the system controller, through which the
hwrng is accessed, leading to load/store access faults.
Add the QSPI as unimplemented and a very basic (effectively
unimplemented) version of the system controller's mailbox. Rather than
purely marking the regions as unimplemented, service the mailbox
requests by reporting failures and raising the interrupt so a guest can
better handle the lack of support.

The Fabric Interconnect Controllers provide interfaces between the FPGA
fabric and the core complex. There are 5 FICs on PolarFire SoC, numbered
0 through 4. FIC2 is an AXI4 slave interface from the FPGA fabric and
does not show up on the MSS memory map. FIC4 is dedicated to the User
Crypto Processor and does not show up on the MSS memory map either.
FIC 0, 1 & 3 do show up in the MSS memory map and neither FICs 0 or 1
are represented in QEMU, leading to load access violations while booting
Linux for Icicle if PCIe is enabled as the root port is connected via
either FIC 0 or 1.

The imsic DT binding[1] has changed and no longer require an ipi-id.
The latest IMSIC driver dynamically allocates ipi id if slow-ipi
is not defined.
Get rid of the unused dt property which may lead to confusion.

This patch updates the OpenTitan model to match
the specified register layout as per [1]. Which is also the latest
commit of OpenTitan supported by TockOS.
Note: Pinmux and Padctrl has been merged into Pinmux [2][3], this patch removes
any references to Padctrl. Note: OpenTitan doc [2] has not yet specified
much detail regarding this, except for a note that states `TODO: this
section needs to be updated to reflect the pinmux/padctrl merger`

When the system reboots, the rng-seed that the FDT has should be
re-randomized, so that the new boot gets a new seed. Since the FDT is in
the ROM region at this point, we add a hook right after the ROM has been
added, so that we have a pointer to that copy of the FDT.

To boot S-mode firmware payload like EDK2 from persistent
flash storage, qemu needs to pass the flash address as the
next_addr in fw_dynamic_info to the opensbi.
When both -kernel and -pflash options are provided in command line,
the kernel (and initrd if -initrd) will be copied to fw_cfg table.
The S-mode FW will load the kernel/initrd from fw_cfg table.
If only pflash is given but not -kernel, then it is the job of
of the S-mode firmware to locate and load the kernel.
In either case, update the kernel_entry with the flash address
so that the opensbi can jump to the entry point of the S-mode
firmware.

On the OpenTitan hardware the resetvec is fixed at the start of ROM. In
QEMU we don't run the ROM code and instead just jump to the next stage.
This means we need to be a little more flexible about what the resetvec
is.
This patch allows us to set the resetvec from the command line with
something like this:
-global driver=riscv.lowrisc.ibex.soc,property=resetvec,value=0x20000400
This way as the next stage changes we can update the resetvec.

Qemu virt machine can support few cache events and cycle/instret counters.
It also supports counter overflow for these events.
Add a DT node so that OpenSBI/Linux kernel is aware of the virt machine
capabilities. There are some dummy nodes added for testing as well.

The arch review of AIA spec is completed and we now have official
extension names for AIA: Smaia (M-mode AIA CSRs) and Ssaia (S-mode
AIA CSRs).
Refer, section 1.6 of the latest AIA v0.3.1 stable specification at

Based on above, we update QEMU RISC-V to:
1) Have separate config options for Smaia and Ssaia extensions

The reset and poweroff features of the syscon were originally added to
top level, which is a valid path for a syscon subnode. Subsequently a
reorganisation was carried out while implementing NUMA in which the
subnodes were moved into the /soc node. As /soc is a "simple-bus", this
path is invalid, and so dt-validate produces the following warnings:

Booting using "Direct Kernel Boot" for PolarFire SoC & skipping u-boot
entirely is probably not advisable, but it does at least show signs of
life. Recent Linux kernel versions make use of peripherals that are
missing definitions in QEMU and lead to kernel panics. These issues
almost certain rear their head for other methods of booting, but I was
unable to figure out a suitable HSS version that is recent enough to
support these peripherals & works with QEMU.
With these peripherals added, booting a kernel with the following hangs
hangs waiting for the system controller's hwrng, but the kernel no
longer panics. With the Linux driver for hwrng disabled, it boots to
console.

More peripherals are added than strictly required to fix the panics in
the hopes of avoiding a replication of this problem in the future.
Some of the peripherals which are in the device tree for recent kernels
are implemented in the FPGA fabric. The eMMC/SD mux, which exists as
an unimplemented device is replaced by a wider entry. This updated
entry covers both the mux & the remainder of the FPGA fabric connected
to the MSS using Fabric Interrconnect (FIC) 3.

The following patch updates opentitan to match the new configuration,
as per, lowRISC/opentitan@217a0168ba
Note: with this patch we now skip the usage of the opentitan
`boot_rom`. The Opentitan boot rom contains hw verification
for devies which we are currently not supporting in qemu. As of now,
the `boot_rom` has no major significance, however, would be good to
support in the future.
Tested by running utests from the latest tock [1]
(that supports this version of OT).

If the FDT contains /chosen/rng-seed, then the Linux RNG will use it to
initialize early. Set this using the usual guest random number
generation function. This is confirmed to successfully initialize the
RNG on Linux 5.19-rc2.

We previously stored the device tree at a 16MB alignment from the end of
memory (or 3GB). This means we need at least 16MB of memory to be able
to do this. We don't actually need the FDT to be 16MB aligned, so let's
drop it down to 2MB so that we can support systems with less memory,
while also allowing FDT size expansion.

Various loader functions return an int which limits images to 2GB which
is fine for things like a BIOS/kernel image, but if we want to be able
to load memory images or large ramdisks then any file over 2GB would
silently fail to load.

fw_cfg DT node is generated after the create_fdt without any check
if the DT is being loaded from the commandline. This results in
FDT_ERR_EXISTS error if dtb is loaded from the commandline.
Generate fw_cfg node only if the DT is not loaded from the commandline.

When both APLIC and IMSIC are present in virt machine, the APLIC should
be used as parent interrupt controller for dynamic platform devices.
In case of multiple sockets, we should prefer interrupt controller of
socket0 for dynamic platform devices.

If specified CPU configuration is not valid, not just it prints error
message, it aborts and generates core dumps (depends on the operating
system). This kind of error handling should be used only when a serious
runtime error occurs.
This commit makes error handling on CPU configuration more generous on
sifive_e/u and opentitan machines. It now just prints error message and
quits (without coredumps and aborts).
This is separate from spike/virt because it involves different type
(TYPE_RISCV_HART_ARRAY) on sifive_e/u and opentitan machines.

Imply the TPM sysbus devices. This allows users to add TPM devices to
the RISC-V virt board.
This was tested by first creating an emulated TPM device:

Commit 7c28f4da20 ("RISC-V: Don't add NULL bootargs to device-tree")
tried to avoid adding *NULL* bootargs to device tree, but unfortunately
the changes were entirely useless, due to MachineState::kernel_cmdline
can't be NULL at all as the default value is given as an empty string.
(see hw/core/machine.c::machine_initfn()).
Note the wording of *NULL* bootargs is wrong. It can't be NULL otherwise
a segfault had already been observed by dereferencing the NULL pointer.
It should be worded as *empty" bootargs.

The current riscv_load_fdt() forces fdt_load_addr to be placed at a dram address within 3GB,
but not all platforms have dram_base within 3GB.
This patch adds an exception for dram base not within 3GB,
which will place fdt at dram_end align 16MB.
riscv_setup_rom_reset_vec() also needs to be modified

The device tree property "mmu-type" is currently exported as either
"riscv,sv32" or "riscv,sv48".
However, the riscv cpu device tree binding [1] has a specific value
"riscv,none" for a HART without a MMU.
Set the device tree property "mmu-type" to "riscv,none" when the CPU mmu
option is disabled using rv32,mmu=off or rv64,mmu=off.

The -bios option is silently ignored if used in combination with -enable-kvm.
The reason is that the machine starts in S-Mode, and the bios typically runs in
M-Mode.
Better exit in that case to not confuse the user.

To facilitate software development of RISC-V systems with large number

We extend virt machine to emulate both AIA IMSIC and AIA APLIC
devices only when "aia=aplic-imsic" parameter is passed along
with machine name in the QEMU command-line. The AIA IMSIC is
only a per-HART MSI controller so we use AIA APLIC in MSI-mode
to forward all wired interrupts as MSIs to the AIA IMSIC.
We also provide "aia-guests=<xyz>" parameter which can be used
to specify number of VS-level AIA IMSIC Guests MMIO pages for
each HART.

Currently, we have to use OpenSBI firmware ELF as bios for the spike
machine because the HTIF console requires ELF for parsing "fromhost"
and "tohost" symbols.
The latest OpenSBI can now optionally pick-up HTIF register address
from HTIF DT node so using this feature spike machine can now use
OpenSBI firmware BIN as bios.

Get kernel and fdt start address in virt.c, and pass them to KVM
when cpu reset. Add kvm_riscv.h to place riscv specific interface.

The following change was made to rectify incorrectly set stride length
on the PLIC [1]. Where it should be 32bit and not 24bit (0x18). This was
discovered whilst attempting to fix a bug where a timer_interrupt was
not serviced on TockOS-OpenTitan.

The original BBL boot method had the kernel embedded as an opaque blob
that was blindly jumped to, which OpenSBI implemented as fw_payload.
OpenSBI then implemented fw_jump, which allows the payload to be loaded
elsewhere, but still blindly jumps to a fixed address at which the
kernel is to be loaded. Finally, OpenSBI introduced fw_dynamic, which
allows the previous stage to inform it where to jump to, rather than
having to blindly guess like fw_jump, or embed the payload as part of
the build like fw_payload. When used with an opaque binary (i.e. the
output of objcopy -O binary), it matches the behaviour of the previous
methods. However, when used with an ELF, QEMU currently passes on the
ELF's entry point address, which causes a discrepancy compared with all
the other boot methods if that entry point is not the first instruction
in the binary.
This difference specific to fw_dynamic with an ELF is not apparent when
booting Linux, since its entry point is the first instruction in the
binary. However, FreeBSD has a separate ELF entry point, following the
calling convention used by its bootloader, that differs from the first
instruction in the binary, used for the legacy SBI entry point, and so
the specific combination of QEMU's default fw_dynamic firmware with
booting FreeBSD as an ELF rather than a raw binary does not work.
Thus, align the behaviour when loading an ELF with the behaviour when
loading a raw binary; namely, use the base address of the loaded kernel
in place of the entry point.
The uImage code is left as-is in using the U-Boot header's entry point,
since the calling convention for that entry point is the same as the SBI
one and it mirrors what U-Boot will do.

drive_get_next() is basically a bad idea. It returns the "next" block
backend of a certain interface type. "Next" means bus=0,unit=N, where
subsequent calls count N up from zero, per interface type.
This lets you define unit numbers implicitly by execution order. If the
order changes, or new calls appear "in the middle", unit numbers change.
ABI break. Hard to spot in review.
A number of machines connect just one backend with drive_get_next().
Change them to use drive_get() directly. This makes the (zero) unit
number explicit in the code.

ssi_sd_realize() creates an "sd-card" device. This is inappropriate,
and marked FIXME.
Move it to the boards that create these devices. Prior art: commit
eb4f566bbb for device "generic-sdhci", and commit 26c607b86b for
device "pl181".
The device remains not user-creatable, because its users should (and
do) wire up its GPIO chip-select line.

Shortly, the set of supported XL will not be just 32 and 64,
and representing that properly using the enumeration will be
imperative.
Two places, booting and gdb, intentionally use misa_mxl_max
to emphasize the use of the reset value of misa.mxl, and not
the current cpu state.

If default main_mem is used to be registered as the system memory,
other memory cannot be initialized. Therefore, the system memory
should be initialized to the machine->ram, which consists of the
default main_mem and other possible memory required by applications,
such as shared hugepage memory in DPDK.
Also, the mc->defaul_ram_id should be set to the default main_mem,

In the riscv virt machine init function, We assemble a string
plic_hart_config which is a comma-separated list of N copies of the
VIRT_PLIC_HART_CONFIG string. The code that does this has a
misunderstanding of the strncat() length argument. If the source
string is too large strncat() will write a maximum of length+1 bytes
(length bytes from the source string plus a trailing NUL), but the
code here assumes that it will write only length bytes at most.
This isn't an actual bug because the code has correctly precalculated
the amount of memory it needs to allocate so that it will never be
too small (i.e. we could have used plain old strcat()), but it does
mean that the code looks like it has a guard against accidental
overrun when it doesn't.
Rewrite the string handling here to use the glib g_strjoinv()
function, which means we don't need to do careful accountancy of
string lengths, and makes it clearer that what we're doing is
"create a comma-separated string".

Currently the firmware dynamic info (fw_dyn) is put right after
the reset vector, which is not 8-byte aligned on RV64. OpenSBI
fw_dynamic uses ld to read contents from 'struct fw_dynamic_info',
which expects fw_dyn to be on the 8-byte boundary, otherwise the
misaligned load exception may happen. Fortunately this does not
cause any issue on QEMU, as QEMU does support misaligned load.
RV32 does not have any issue as it is 4-byte aligned already.
Change to make sure it is 8-byte aligned which works for both
RV32 and RV64.

At present the Microchip Icicle Kit machine only supports using
'-bios' to load the HSS, and does not support '-kernel' for direct
kernel booting just like other RISC-V machines do. One has to use
U-Boot which is chain-loaded by HSS, to load a kernel for testing.
This is not so convenient.
Adding '-kernel' support together with the existing '-bios', we
follow the following table to select which payload we execute:
-bios | -kernel | payload

Y | don't care | HSS
N | Y | kernel
This ensures backwards compatibility with how we used to expose
'-bios' to users. When '-kernel' is used for direct boot, '-dtb'
must be present to provide a valid device tree for the board,
as we don't generate device tree.
When direct kernel boot is used, the OpenSBI fw_dynamic BIOS image
is used to boot a payload like U-Boot or OS kernel directly.
Documentation is updated to describe the direct kernel boot. Note
as of today there is still no PolarFire SoC support in the upstream
Linux kernel hence the document does not include instructions for
that. It will be updated in the future.

Since HSS commit c20a89f8dcac, the Icicle Kit reference design has
been updated to use a register mapped at 0x4f000000 instead of a
GPIO to control whether eMMC or SD card is to be used. With this
support the same HSS image can be used for both eMMC and SD card
boot flow, while previously two different board configurations were
used. This is undocumented but one can take a look at the HSS code
HSS_MMCInit() in services/mmc/mmc_api.c.
With this commit, HSS image built from 2020.12 release boots again.

Some peripherals require 64-bit PCI address, so let's map the high
mmio space for PCIe.
For RV32, the address is hardcoded to below 4 GiB from the highest
accessible physical address. For RV64, the base address depends on
top of RAM and is aligned to its size which is using 16 GiB for now.

RV32 supports 34-bit physical address hence the maximum RAM size
should be limited. Limit the RAM size to 10 GiB, which leaves
some room for PCIe high mmio space.
For 32-bit host, this is not needed as machine->ram_size cannot
represent a RAM size that big. Use a #if size test to only do
the size limitation for the 64-bit host.

card to it. The generation of corresponding device tree source
fragment is also added.
Specify machine property `msel` to 11 to boot the same upstream
U-Boot SPL and payload image for the SiFive HiFive Unleashed board.
Note subsequent payload is stored in the SD card image.

This adds the QSPI0 controller to the SoC, and connects an ISSI
25WP256 flash to it. The generation of corresponding device tree
source fragment is also added.
Since the direct memory-mapped mode is not supported by the SiFive
SPI model, the <reg> property does not populate the second group
which represents the memory mapped address of the SPI flash.
With this commit, upstream U-Boot for the SiFive HiFive Unleashed
board can boot on QEMU 'sifive_u' out of the box. This allows users
to develop and test the recommended RISC-V boot flow with a real
world use case: ZSBL (in QEMU) loads U-Boot SPL from SPI flash to
L2LIM, then U-Boot SPL loads the payload from SPI flash that is
combined with OpenSBI fw_dynamic firmware and U-Boot proper.
Specify machine property `msel` to 6 to allow booting from the SPI
flash. U-Boot spl is directly loaded via `-bios`, and subsequent

We were accidently passing RISCVHartArrayState by value instead of
pointer. The type is 824 bytes long so let's correct that and pass it by

Currently, we place the DTB at 2MB from 4GB or end of DRAM which ever is
lesser. However, Linux kernel can address only 1GB of memory for RV32.
Thus, it can not map anything beyond 3GB (assuming 2GB is the starting address).
As a result, it can not process DT and panic if opensbi dynamic firmware
is used. While at it, place the DTB further away to avoid in memory placement
issues in future.
Fix this by placing the DTB at 16MB from 3GB or end of DRAM whichever is lower.

Instead of using string compares to determine if a RISC-V machine is
using 32-bit or 64-bit CPUs we can use the initalised CPUs. This avoids
us having to maintain a list of CPU names to compare against.
This commit also fixes the name of the function to match the
riscv_cpu_is_32bit() function.

The latest SD card image [1] released by Microchip ships a Linux
kernel with built-in PolarFire SoC I2C driver support. The device
tree file includes the description for the I2C1 node hence kernel
tries to probe the I2C1 device during boot.
It is enough to create an unimplemented device for I2C1 to allow
the kernel to continue booting to the shell.

When system memory is larger than 1 GiB (high memory), PolarFire SoC
maps it at address 0x10_0000_0000. Address 0xC000_0000 and above is
aliased to the same 1 GiB low memory with different cache attributes.
At present QEMU maps the system memory contiguously from 0x8000_0000.
This corrects the wrong QEMU logic. Note address 0x14_0000_0000 is
the alias to the high memory, and even physical memory is only 1 GiB,
the HSS codes still tries to probe the high memory alias address.
It seems there is no issue on the real hardware, so we will have to
take that into the consideration in our emulation. Due to this, we
we increase the default system memory size to 1537 MiB (the minimum
required high memory size by HSS) so that user gets notified an error
when less than 1537 MiB is specified.

Somehow HSS needs to access address 0 [1] for the DDR calibration data
which is in the chipset's reserved memory. Let's map it.

Previously IOSCB_CFG was created as an unimplemented device. With
the new IOSCB model, its memory range is already covered by the

Instead of loading the kernel at a hardcoded start address, let's load
the kernel at the next aligned address after the end of the firmware.
This should have no impact for current users of OpenSBI, but will
allow loading a noMMU kernel at the start of memory.

Instead of returning the unused entry address from riscv_load_firmware()
instead return the end address. Also return the end address from
riscv_find_and_load_firmware().
This tells the caller if a firmware was loaded and how big it is. This
can be used to determine the load address of the next image (usually the
kernel).

Several callers of load_elf() pass pointers for lowaddr and highaddr
parameters which are then not used for anything. This may stem from a
misunderstanding that load_elf need a value here but in fact it can
take NULL to ignore these values. Remove such unused variables and
pass NULL instead from callers that don't need these.

SiFive FU540 SoC integrates a platform DMA controller with 4 DMA
channels. This connects the exsiting SiFive PDMA model to the SoC,

At present the CLINT timestamp is using a hard-coded timebase
frequency value SIFIVE_CLINT_TIMEBASE_FREQ. This might not be
true for all boards.
Add a new 'timebase-freq' property to the CLINT device, and
update various functions to accept this as a parameter.

Microchip PolarFire SoC integrates 3 GPIOs controllers. It seems
enough to create unimplemented devices to cover their register
spaces at this point.
With this commit, QEMU can boot to U-Boot (2nd stage bootloader)
all the way to the Linux shell login prompt, with a modified HSS
(1st stage bootloader).

Microchip PolarFire SoC integrates 2 Candence GEMs to provide
IEEE 802.3 standard-compliant 10/100/1000 Mbps ethernet interface.
On the Icicle Kit board, GEM0 connects to a PHY at address 8 while
GEM1 connects to a PHY at address 9.
The 2nd stage bootloader (U-Boot) is using GEM1 by default, so we
must specify 2 '-nic' options from the command line in order to get
a working ethernet.

Microchip PolarFire SoC integrates one Cadence SDHCI controller.
On the Icicle Kit board, one eMMC chip and an external SD card
connect to this controller depending on different configuration.
As QEMU does not support eMMC yet, we just emulate the SD card
configuration. To test this, the Hart Software Services (HSS)
should choose the SD card configuration:
$ cp boards/icicle-kit-es/def_config.sdcard .config
$ make BOARD=icicle-kit-es
The SD card image can be built from the Yocto BSP at:

This is an initial support for Microchip PolarFire SoC Icicle Kit.
The Icicle Kit board integrates a PolarFire SoC, with one SiFive's
E51 plus four U54 cores and many on-chip peripherals and an FPGA.

The memory is set to 1 GiB by default to match the hardware.
A sanity check on ram size is performed in the machine init routine
to prompt user to increase the RAM size to > 1 GiB when less than
1 GiB ram is detected.

Now that we have the newly introduced 'resetvec' property in the
RISC-V CPU and HART, instead of hard-coding the reset vector addr
in the CPU's instance_init(), move that to riscv_cpu_realize()
based on the configured property value from the RISC-V machines.

RISC-V machines do not instantiate RISC-V CPUs directly, instead
they do that via the hart array. Add a new property for the reset
vector address to allow the value to be passed to the CPU, before
CPU is realized.

All Meson executables should specify their dependencies explicitly, either
directly or indirectly via declare_dependency. Makefiles instead did
not propagate dependencies correctly from static libraries, for example.
Therefore, flags for dependencies need not be included in QEMU_CFLAGS.
LIBS is not used at all, so drop that one as well.
In a few cases the dependencies were not yet specified, so add them.

Some of the enum constant names conflict with the QOM type check
macros (IBEX_PLIC, IBEX_UART). This needs to be addressed to
allow us to transform the QOM type check macros into functions
generated by OBJECT_DECLARE_TYPE().
Rename all the constants to IBEX_DEV_*, to avoid conflicts.

We extend RISC-V virt machine to allow creating a multi-socket
machine. Each RISC-V virt machine socket is a NUMA node having
a set of HARTs, a memory instance, a CLINT instance, and a PLIC
instance. Other devices are shared between all sockets. We also
update the generated device tree accordingly.
By default, NUMA multi-socket support is disabled for RISC-V virt
machine. To enable it, users can use "-numa" command-line options
of QEMU.
Example1: For two NUMA nodes with 2 CPUs each, append following
to command-line options: "-smp 4 -numa node -numa node"
Example2: For two NUMA nodes with 1 and 3 CPUs, append following
to command-line options:
"-smp 4 -numa node -numa node -numa cpu,node-id=0,core-id=0 \
-numa cpu,node-id=1,core-id=1 -numa cpu,node-id=1,core-id=2 \
-numa cpu,node-id=1,core-id=3"
The maximum number of sockets in a RISC-V virt machine is 8
but this limit can be changed in future.

We add common helper routines which can be shared by RISC-V
multi-socket NUMA machines.
We have two types of helpers:
1. riscv_socket_xyz() - These helper assist managing multiple
sockets irrespective whether QEMU NUMA is enabled/disabled
2. riscv_numa_xyz() - These helpers assist in providing
necessary QEMU machine callbacks for QEMU NUMA emulation

Update virt and sifive_u machines to use the opensbi fw_dynamic bios
image built for the generic FDT platform.
Remove the out-of-date no longer used bios images.

Meson doesn't enjoy the same flexibility we have with Make in choosing
the include path. In particular the tracing headers are using
$(build_root)/$(<D).
In order to keep the include directives unchanged,
the simplest solution is to generate headers with patterns like
"trace/trace-audio.h" and place forwarding headers in the source tree
such that for example "audio/trace.h" includes "trace/trace-audio.h".
This patch is too ugly to be applied to the Makefiles now. It's only
a way to separate the changes to the tracing header files from the
Meson rewrite of the tracing logic.

FE310-G000 and FE310-G002 manuals:

nd_table[] contains NIC configuration for boards to pick up. Device
code has no business looking there. Several devices do it anyway.
Two of them already have a suitable FIXME comment: "allwinner-a10" and
"msf2-soc". Copy it to the others: "allwinner-h3", "xlnx-versal",
"xlnx,zynqmp", "sparc32-ledma", "riscv.sifive.u.soc".

At present the size of Mask ROM for sifive_u / spike / virt machines
is set to 0x11000, which ends at an unusual address. This changes the
size to 0xf000 so that it ends at 0x10000.

Even though the start address in ROM code is declared as a 64 bit address
for RV64, it can't be used as upper bits are set to zero in ROM code.
Update the ROM code correctly to reflect the 64bit value.

OpenSBI is the default firmware in Qemu and has various firmware loading
options. Currently, qemu loader uses fw_jump which has a compile time
pre-defined address where fdt & kernel image must reside. This puts a
constraint on image size of the Linux kernel depending on the fdt location
and available memory. However, fw_dynamic allows the loader to specify
the next stage location (i.e. Linux kernel/U-Boot) in memory and other
configurable boot options available in OpenSBI.
Add support for OpenSBI dynamic firmware loading support. This doesn't
break existing setup and fw_jump will continue to work as it is. Any
other firmware will continue to work without any issues as long as it
doesn't expect anything specific from loader in "a2" register.

Currently, the fdt is copied to the ROM after the reset vector. The firmware
has to copy it to DRAM. Instead of this, directly copy the device tree to a
pre-computed dram address. The device tree load address should be as far as
possible from kernel and initrd images. That's why it is kept at the end of
the DRAM or 4GB whichever is lesser.

Currently, all riscv machines except sifive_u have identical reset vector
code implementations with memory addresses being different for all machines.
They can be easily combined into a single function in common code.
Move it to common function and let all the machines use the common function.

Without the "when strict", Coccinelle transforms vfio_msix_setup(),
incorrectly. I don't know what exactly "when strict" does, only that
it helps here.
The match of return is narrower than what I want, but I can't figure
out how to express "return where the operand doesn't use @err". For
an example where it's too narrow, see vfio_intx_enable().
Silently fails to convert hw/arm/armsse.c, because Coccinelle gets
confused by ARMSSE being used both as typedef and function-like macro
there. Converted manually.
Line breaks tidied up manually. One nested declaration of @local_err
deleted manually. Preexisting unwanted blank line dropped in
hw/riscv/sifive_e.c.
