For each podule found, config_found_sm() is now called. Device drivers
now only need to look at the podule_attach_args information during

A new function matchpodule() has been added for use in the
podule device driver probe functions.

- Be more careful about when to flag a transfer as completed.
The result of these changes is that interrupt-driven PDMA works well

cable type is being used. Note that this patch does not fix the problem
recently discussed on port-sparc; in most cases the PROM doesn't know
what cable type is being used. The default is now TP rather than AUI,

this driver is based on the amiga sbic/33C93 driver. Steve has
cleaned it up and fixed lots of bugs. Note that the original driver
used features which require at least a WD33C93A (the vme147 has the
original WD33C93 chip <no 'A' suffix>). Steve has also written
the DMA routines for the 147 to get things really going. Hardware
scatter-gather DMA and sync. SCSI are not supported (yet). tested
on several disk drives and a tape drive. CD-ROM untested, but
should work.

Fix __sysctl() to return the proper value to the caller, to match

-1 on failure. The previous behavior was to return -1 on failure
and the number of bytes copied back down to user space.

Update the pmax SCSI drivers (rz and tz) to use <machine/conf.h>.
Fix the driver entry points to have the correct signatures -- add
"ioflag" args to read() and write(), add "struct proc *p" arg to
open and close.
Stop using __BDEVSW_DUMP_OLD_TYPE, and update the rzdump and tzdump
entry points to have the correct, MI signatures.
NB: this is just syntactic sugar: both the caller and the dump entry
points ignore the additional args, and do exactly what they did before.
This must be fixed before using dump entry points in non-pmax drivers
(e.g., the MI scsi code).

Fix oversight in sun4m changes: the CPU attach code moved, so the CPU

SunOS binaries use "trap #2" (for some obscure FPU business,

or so claims the comment in trap.c). Reinstate the code that
treats trap 2 as "trace" which is given special handling in
trap.c for SunOS binaries. Also add some comments about this.

make netbsd/sparc boot on sun4 once again. the sun4m changes introduced

config lines for obio0 devices without addresses (thus cf->cf_loc[0] took
the default value of -1). we now ignore these entries on a sun4 since
they could never be valid (eliminates a 'panic:alignment' fault at bootup).

make netbsd/sparc boot on sun4 once again. the sun4m changes introduced

config lines for obio0 devices without addresses (thus cf->cf_loc[0] took
the default value of -1). this caused autoconf.c to map memreg0 to
obio physical address -1 (invalid). as soon as we took a memory fault
the code in memfault_sun4 [locore] would get a Watchdog timeout when trying to
read memreg0 (a.k.a. par_err_reg).

return a struct device * of attached device, or NULL if device attach failed,
rather than 1/0 for success/failure, so that code that bus code which needs
to know what the child device is doesn't have to open-code a hacked variant
of config_found(). Make config_attach() return struct device *, rather than
void, to facilitate that.

until port allocation/accounting is ready (XXX).
works around problem of the if_ep driver's probe function trashing
an adaptec 2940 if the BIOS maps it in at port 0xf000. (the
BIOS on my new P166 does this, ... the BIOS on my P133's does not).
without this the P166 system will reset as soon as spl0() is called
(autoconf.c) making it impossible to install the OS.

Several things:
...
1) If we get an unexpected disconnect, issue a REQUEST SENSE, as recommended
by the SCSI-2 spec. If the target created a contingent allegiance condition,
this will clear it. Also, if it happened while sending a SDTR or WDTR message,
disable negotiation for that target.
2) Since some lame devices still don't deal correctly, make sure we deassert
ATN if our last message out is interrupted. If we get a MESSAGE PARITY ERROR,
we'll reassert ATN anyway. This should ensure that we never have to send a
MESSAGE NO OPERATION.
3) Set AIC_ABORTING only when actually sending a BUS DEVICE RESET or ABORT,
so we get better error detection.
4) Other internal reorganization of no consequence.

Note on multi-architecture kernels: most architecture dependent traps are
forked off directly by having a separate trap table for each (sun4,sun4c,sun4m)
This reduces the number of tests on `cputyp' significantly, and it's easier
on the mind. There are still some entry points that need to test `cputyp',
most notably microtime().. yuck.
