8ffd0477dd Implement degree mode in DeskCalc.
Default is radian mode, You set the option in the right click menu
like the other options.

Note: degree mode does not affect hyperbolic trigonometric functions.
This is how Mac Calculator, Windows Calculator, and Google Calculator
work.

533f3bb494 Support x86_64 in sysinfo.
Just changed all #ifdef __INTEL__ to __INTEL__ || __x86_64__, and
fixed all the printf format strings. The CPU detection code all
works the same.

32951c4e63 Make BReference and BWeakReference behave more like a normal pointer.
* Casts like BReference<Derived> to BReference<Base> are now possible.
* This cast for BWeakReference is, because of the underlying structure, not automatically type safe. I used a simple hack to make the compiler complain if the cast
is not type safe. Please take a look if that can be done better.
* Smaller style and bug fixes.

6846765fbf Work on #7947 (CalendarView not respecting locale's start of week)
* support all weekdays as start of week, not only Sunday and Monday
(at least Saturday is used for real, too)
* introduce BWeekday as enumeration of weekdays (currently in Locale.h,
may be moved somewhere else later)
* change CalendarView to use BDate as its model, not individual values
for day, month and year, such that no more date computation is done
  in CalendarView itself
* some more style cleanups in CalendarView along the way
* add monthwise paging to CalendarView
* adjusted Deskbar and Time preflet accordingly

24df65921b Merged signals-merge branch into trunk with the following changes:
* Reorganized the kernel locking related to threads and teams.
* We now discriminate correctly between process and thread signals. Signal
handlers have been moved to teams. Fixes #5679.
* Implemented real-time signal support, including signal queuing, SA_SIGINFO
support, sigqueue(), sigwaitinfo(), sigtimedwait(), waitid(), and the addition
of the real-time signal range. Closes #1935 and #2695.
* Gave SIGBUS a separate signal number. Fixes #6704.
* Implemented <time.h> clock and timer support, and fixed/completed alarm() and
  [set]itimer(). Closes #5682.
* Implemented support for thread cancellation. Closes #5686.
* Moved send_signal() from <signal.h> to <OS.h>. Fixes #7554.
* Lots over smaller more or less related changes.

596bb6891a * Finally rewrote the filthy, busy-looping, mouse tracking in Tracker.
The new asynchronous tracking doesn't lock the view and makes desktop
replicants happy while clicking and dragging around. Fixes #880, #7241
and certainly other tickets, that i will revisit, about refresh locks
on the desktop or mouse related bugs. Based on a reusable MessageFilter and the
recent B_MOUSE_IDLE message. Some parts are ported from the old code
and could use further simplification.

There should be no intentional user fonctional change, except:
- slightly bigger threshold radius, shorter duration thresholds
 (= 1.0 x the system-wide doubleclick setting)
- not reimplemented: quickening threshold when holding shift while dragging
a pose over a destination pose.

Some parts are ported from the old code and could use further simplification.
There is one known minor regression with autoscrolling while
rect-selecting but that will be better fixed with some changes to the
autoscroll code. Will address that ASAP. As for the unknown regressions,
please test :)

  - The initializer functions cannot fail anymore -- changed their return type
    to void.
  - Changed the initializer function semantics to not copy the name by default
anymore (as in the kernel). Also added *_etc() versions of them that take an
    additional flags.
  - Added static initializer macros.
  - Made the mutex (and thus recursive_lock) lock functions non-interruptable.
  - Got rid of the "lazy" version. They are no longer needed, since the
initialization of the standard types can be done statically and cannot fail.
* Adjusted libroot, runtime loader, and other code using the private libroot
locking primitives to the new semantics.
* pthreads mutexes and condition variables:
  - Reimplemented using the _kern_mutex*() syscalls.
  - Consistently use POSIX error codes.
  - Fixed some not quite POSIX compliant behavior.

48d796576e * Moved the duplicate "string_for_size()" implementations into libshared.a.
* Adapted libtracker.so, DriveSetup and Installer to use the shared version.
 * The new version uses the correct units (KiB instead of KB and so on).
 * Use the correct units in a few other prominent places, where
   string_for_size() could not be used.

Should resolve a major part of #5378.

a070cf5306 * Indentation update in DateTime.h
* Extended BTime, BDate and BDateTime with archiving functionality.
 * Adjusted code which uses these classes, since including DateTime.h
already imports the classes from the BPrivate namespace.
 * Moved DateTime.h into Support Kit. It is still in the BPrivate namespace,
as I am uncertain what to do with time_type and diff_type. I'd favor
moving the constants into the classes itself. Possibly removing the B_
   prefix from them. Feedback welcome.

edb41bfb71 Added HashSet class based on the (OpenTracker) OpenHashTable code. This is
currently similar to HashMap, which is also based on that version. The kernel
has OpenHashTable by Hugo Santos, which is a bit nicer, but I didn't want to
change too much code, although HashMap and HashSet exist for this as well.

937b23cb21 Added locking primitive lazy_mutex, which has essentially the same behaviour
as a mutex, but allocates its semaphore lazily. This comes at the cost of an
additional atomic_add() when the semaphore has actually to be acquired, but
saves the semaphore creation completely in single-threaded programs and in
any program when there's no lock contention.

93b63126e1 Adding mutex and rw_lock with the same interface as the kernel versions to
libroot. The mutex is a simple benaphore, the rw_lock is pretty much the same
as the one from libkernelland_emu but uses a mutex per lock instead of emulating
a global thread lock. Also added MutexLocking and RWLock{Read|Write}Locking and
AutoLockers based on them. It's cased with __cplusplus so the locks are also
usable from C. Everything's currently exposed in shared/private/locks.h but I
think we should make these locking primitves public.
