pk 34c8ad8c30 Define dvma_map{in,out}() to map a buffer into DVMA space. These are
safe for use at interrupt time.

Implement vmapbuf() and vunmapbuf() in terms of these new functions.

cgd 59e990a56b check CMOS time against base time, for sanity. if CMOS time invalid,
warn user and user base time.  if base time < 1985, warn the user.
if base time 5 or more years different than clock time, warn user,
and if it's base time that's greater, use it.  (The latter case is
handy if one has a machine in which the CMOS battery is dead... I do.)

briggs c9917aa539 * Don't include sys/exec.h explicitly--it's not protected against multiple
inclusions and compat_util.h now includes it.
* Declare struct emul *e=p->p_emul in a couple of places so we can use
  STACKGAPBASE macro (should this macro be modified to take a struct
  emul * or struct proc * parameter?).
* Declare extern struct emul emul_sunos for sunos_sigvec's comparison.

cgd f90cf78fba convert pcb lists to CIRCLEQs, so that the end can be looked at more
easily, and so that the original (insque/remque) logic can be effectively
mimiced.  (This fixes a bug in the previous set of list changes.)
also (since terminator is no longer null) reinstate uninitted list checks,
but mark them XXX.

cgd c4640b104d define and call "pci_devinfo()", which creates a string from the
vendor & product IDs and class information, which is printed if device
isn't found.  Optionally (via "PCIVERBOSE" option) does table lookup
to try to see if it knows what the device really is (informational only...).

fvdl 769310e81d Linux select() returns the amount of time left before a timeout would have
occured in the timeval structure. Emulate this behavior. Reported by

mycroft 2be9b519ac As suggested by Brakmo and Peterson:
* Don't add the extra 1/8 of the mss when ramping up the congestion window.
* Scale the RTT values slightly to adjust for rounding errors.
* Set the lower bound of the RTO to RTT+2.

fvdl a22d72bf4d * Always kill all vm_cmds before giving up on loading an executable
* Don't try to use auxiliary arguments with statically linked executables.
* Remove 'cannot find interpreter' uprintf, as other exec modules may
  succeed in running the binary after all, and then we don't want this message.
* Some linkers produce rw- for the data segment, not rwx.
* Remove a few debugging printfs

leo 73c861e2e3 Handle mouse and other packages received from the keyboard correctly.
The initialisation now resets the keyboard and disables all packages
that make no sense because their drivers are not activated.

mycroft d7e904a697 Fix various signal handling bugs:
* If we got a stopping signal while already stopped with the same signal,
the second signal would sometimes (but not always) be ignored.
* Signals delivered by the debugger always pretended to be stopping
signals.
* PT_ATTACH still didn't quite work right.
