target/riscv: Add *envcfg.HADE related check in address translation
When menvcfg.HADE is 1, hardware updating of PTE A/D bits is enabled
during single-stage address translation. When the hypervisor extension is
implemented, if menvcfg.HADE is 1, hardware updating of PTE A/D bits is
enabled during G-stage address translation.

Set *envcfg.HADE default true for backward compatibility.

target/riscv: remove RISCV_FEATURE_MMU
RISCV_FEATURE_MMU is set whether cpu->cfg.mmu is set, so let's just use
the flag directly instead.

With this change the enum is also removed. It is worth noticing that
this enum, and all the RISCV_FEATURES_* that were contained in it,
predates the existence of the cpu->cfg object. Today, using cpu->cfg is
an easier way to retrieve all the features and extensions enabled in the
hart.

883f2c591f bulk: Rename TARGET_FMT_plx -> HWADDR_FMT_plx
The 'hwaddr' type is defined in "exec/hwaddr.h" as:

    hwaddr is the type of a physical address
   (its size can be different from 'target_ulong').

All definitions use the 'HWADDR_' prefix, except TARGET_FMT_plx:

 $ fgrep define include/exec/hwaddr.h
 #define HWADDR_H
 #define HWADDR_BITS 64
 #define HWADDR_MAX UINT64_MAX
 #define TARGET_FMT_plx "%016" PRIx64
         ^^^^^^
 #define HWADDR_PRId PRId64
 #define HWADDR_PRIi PRIi64
 #define HWADDR_PRIo PRIo64
 #define HWADDR_PRIu PRIu64
 #define HWADDR_PRIx PRIx64
 #define HWADDR_PRIX PRIX64

Since hwaddr's size can be *different* from target_ulong, it is
very confusing to read one of its format using the 'TARGET_FMT_'
prefix, normally used for the target_long / target_ulong types:

$ fgrep TARGET_FMT_ include/exec/cpu-defs.h
 #define TARGET_FMT_lx "%08x"
 #define TARGET_FMT_ld "%d"
 #define TARGET_FMT_lu "%u"
 #define TARGET_FMT_lx "%016" PRIx64
 #define TARGET_FMT_ld "%" PRId64
 #define TARGET_FMT_lu "%" PRIu64

Apparently this format was missed during commit a8170e5e97
("Rename target_phys_addr_t to hwaddr"), so complete it by
doing a bulk-rename with:

 $ sed -i -e s/TARGET_FMT_plx/HWADDR_FMT_plx/g $(git grep -l TARGET_FMT_plx)

The max count in itrigger can be 0x3FFF, which will cause a no trivial

824cac681c target/riscv: Fix PMP propagation for tlb
Only the pmp index that be checked by pmp_hart_has_privs can be used
by pmp_get_tlb_size to avoid an error pmp index.

Before modification, we may use an error pmp index. For example,
we check address 0x4fc, and the size 0x4 in pmp_hart_has_privs. If there
is an pmp rule, valid range is [0x4fc, 0x500), then pmp_hart_has_privs
will return true;

However, this checked pmp index is discarded as pmp_hart_has_privs
return bool value. In pmp_is_range_in_tlb, it will traverse all pmp
rules. The tlb_sa will be 0x0, and tlb_ea will be 0xfff. If there is
a pmp rule [0x10, 0x14), it will be misused as it is legal in
pmp_get_tlb_size.

As we have already known the correct pmp index, just remove the
remove the pmp_is_range_in_tlb and get tlb size directly from
pmp_get_tlb_size.

7d7fb11615 target/riscv: Honour -semihosting-config userspace=on and enable=on
The riscv target incorrectly enabled semihosting always, whether the
user asked for it or not. Call semihosting_enabled() passing the
correct value to the is_userspace argument, which fixes this and also
handles the userspace=on argument. Because we do this at translate
time, we no longer need to check the privilege level in
riscv_cpu_do_interrupt().

Note that this is a behaviour change: we used to default to
semihosting being enabled, and now the user must pass
"-semihosting-config enable=on" if they want it.

355d5584de target/riscv: rvv: Add mask agnostic for vv instructions
According to v-spec, mask agnostic behavior can be either kept as
undisturbed or set elements' bits to all 1s. To distinguish the
difference of mask policies, QEMU should be able to simulate the mask
agnostic behavior as "set mask elements' bits to all 1s".

There are multiple possibility for agnostic elements according to
v-spec. The main intent of this patch-set tries to add option that
can distinguish between mask policies. Setting agnostic elements to
all 1s allows QEMU to express this.

This is the first commit regarding the optional mask agnostic
behavior. Follow-up commits will add this optional behavior
for all rvv instructions.

435774992e target/riscv: Update default priority table for local interrupts
The latest AIA draft v0.3.0 defines a relatively simpler scheme for
default priority assignments where:
1) local interrupts 24 to 31 and 48 to 63 are reserved for custom use
   and have implementation specific default priority.
2) remaining local interrupts 0 to 23 and 32 to 47 have a recommended
   (not mandatory) priority assignments.

We update the default priority table and hviprio mapping as-per above.

Perform the cleanup in the FIXME comment in common_semi_gdb_syscall.
Do not modify guest registers until the syscall is complete,
which in the gdbstub case is asynchronous.

In the synchronous non-gdbstub case, use common_semi_set_ret

Rely on the latter for combined return value / errno setting.

f1eed927fb target/riscv: rvv: Add tail agnostic for vv instructions
According to v-spec, tail agnostic behavior can be either kept as
undisturbed or set elements' bits to all 1s. To distinguish the
difference of tail policies, QEMU should be able to simulate the tail
agnostic behavior as "set tail elements' bits to all 1s".

There are multiple possibility for agnostic elements according to
v-spec. The main intent of this patch-set tries to add option that
can distinguish between tail policies. Setting agnostic elements to
all 1s allows QEMU to express this.

This is the first commit regarding the optional tail agnostic
behavior. Follow-up commits will add this optional behavior
for all rvv instructions.

8f42415fc1 target/riscv: Wake on VS-level external interrupts
Whether or not VSEIP is pending isn't reflected in env->mip and must
instead be determined from hstatus.vgein and hgeip. As a result a
CPU in WFI won't wake on a VSEIP, which violates the WFI behavior as
specified in the privileged ISA. Just use riscv_cpu_all_pending()

e2f01f3c2e hw/intc: Make RISC-V ACLINT mtime MMIO register writable
RISC-V privilege spec defines that mtime is exposed as a memory-mapped
machine-mode read-write register. However, as QEMU uses host monotonic

This patch makes mtime to be writable by recording the time delta value
between the mtime value to be written and the timer value at the time
mtime is written. Time delta value is then added back whenever the timer

487a99551a target/riscv: fix VS interrupts forwarding to HS
VS interrupts (2, 6, 10) were not correctly forwarded to hs-mode when
not delegated in hideleg (which was not being taken into account). This
was mainly because hs level sie was not always considered enabled when
it should. The spec states that "Interrupts for higher-privilege modes,
y>x, are always globally enabled regardless of the setting of the global
yIE bit for the higher-privilege mode." and also "For purposes of
interrupt global enables, HS-mode is considered more privileged than
VS-mode, and VS-mode is considered more privileged than VU-mode". Also,
vs-level interrupts were not being taken into account unless V=1, but
should be unless delegated.

Finally, there is no need for a special case for to handle vs interrupts
as the current privilege level, the state of the global ie and of the
delegation registers should be enough to route all interrupts to the
appropriate privilege level in riscv_cpu_do_interrupt.

ec352d0cab target/riscv: Add proper two-stage lookup exception detection
The current two-stage lookup detection in riscv_cpu_do_interrupt falls
short of its purpose, as all it checks is whether two-stage address
translation either via the hypervisor-load store instructions or the
MPRV feature would be allowed.

What we really need instead is whether two-stage address translation was
active when the exception was raised. However, in riscv_cpu_do_interrupt
we do not have the information to reliably detect this. Therefore, when
we raise a memory fault exception we have to record whether two-stage
address translation is active.

d73415a315 qemu/atomic.h: rename atomic_ to qatomic_
clang's C11 atomic_fetch_*() functions only take a C11 atomic type
pointer argument. QEMU uses direct types (int, etc) and this causes a
compiler error when a QEMU code calls these functions in a source file
that also included <stdatomic.h> via a system header file:

  $ CC=clang CXX=clang++ ./configure ... && make
  ../util/async.c:79:17: error: address argument to atomic operation must be a pointer to _Atomic type ('unsigned int *' invalid)

Avoid using atomic_*() names in QEMU's atomic.h since that namespace is
used by <stdatomic.h>. Prefix QEMU's APIs with 'q' so that atomic.h
and <stdatomic.h> can co-exist. I checked /usr/include on my machine and
searched GitHub for existing "qatomic_" users but there seem to be none.

This patch was generated using:

  $ git grep -h -o '\<atomic\(64\)\?_[a-z0-9_]\+' include/qemu/atomic.h | \
    sort -u >/tmp/changed_identifiers
  $ for identifier in $(</tmp/changed_identifiers); do
        sed -i "s%\<$identifier\>%q$identifier%g" \
            $(git grep -I -l "\<$identifier\>")
    done

I manually fixed line-wrap issues and misaligned rST tables.

af3fc195e3 target/riscv: Change the TLB page size depends on PMP entries.
The minimum granularity of PMP is 4 bytes, it is small than 4KB page
size, therefore, the pmp checking would be ignored if its range doesn't
start from the alignment of one page. This patch detects the pmp entries
and sets the small page size to TLB if there is a PMP entry which cover
the page size.

9ef82119b1 target/riscv: Fix the translation of physical address
The real physical address should add the 12 bits page offset. It also
causes the PMP wrong checking due to the minimum granularity of PMP is
4 byte, but we always get the physical address which is 4KB alignment,
that means, we always use the start address of the page to check PMP for
all addresses which in the same page.
