6328d8ffa6 misc/pca955*: Move models under hw/gpio
The PCA9552 and PCA9554 devices are both I2C GPIO controllers and the
PCA9552 also can drive LEDs. Do all the necessary adjustments to move
the models under hw/gpio.

1cdcfb6e93 hw/gpio: Implement STM32L4x5 GPIO
Features supported :
- the 8 STM32L4x5 GPIOs are initialized with their reset values
    (except IDR, see below)
- input mode : setting a pin in input mode "externally" (using input
    irqs) results in an out irq (transmitted to SYSCFG)
- output mode : setting a bit in ODR sets the corresponding out irq
    (if this line is configured in output mode)
- pull-up, pull-down
- push-pull, open-drain

Difference with the real GPIOs :
- Alternate Function and Analog mode aren't implemented :
    pins in AF/Analog behave like pins in input mode
- floating pins stay at their last value
- register IDR reset values differ from the real one :
    values are coherent with the other registers reset values
    and the fact that AF/Analog modes aren't implemented
- setting I/O output speed isn't supported
- locking port bits isn't supported
- ADC function isn't supported
- GPIOH has 16 pins instead of 2 pins
- writing to registers LCKR, AFRL, AFRH and ASCR is ineffective

ef4989b0a8 hw/gpio/pl061: Convert to 3-phase reset and assert GPIO lines correctly on reset
The PL061 comes out of reset with all its lines configured as input,
which means they might need to be pulled to 0 or 1 depending on the
'pullups' and 'pulldowns' properties.  Currently we do not assert
these lines on reset; they will only be set whenever the guest first
touches a register that triggers a call to pl061_update().

Convert the device to three-phase reset so we have a place where we
can safely call qemu_set_irq() to set the floating lines to their
correct values.

ad06d56fc7 hw/gpio/pl061: Honour Luminary PL061 PUR and PDR registers
The Luminary variant of the PL061 has registers GPIOPUR and GPIOPDR
which lets the guest configure whether the GPIO lines are pull-up,
pull-down, or truly floating. Instead of assuming all lines are pulled
high, honour the PUR and PDR registers.

For the plain PL061, continue to assume that lines have an external
pull-up resistor, as we did before.

The stellaris board actually relies on this behaviour -- the CD line
of the ssd0323 display device is connected to GPIO output C7, and it
is only because of a different bug which we're about to fix that we
weren't incorrectly driving this line high on reset and putting the
ssd0323 into data mode.

74d359b52d hw/gpio/pl061: Add tracepoints for register read and write
Add tracepoints for reads and writes to the PL061 registers. This requires
restructuring pl061_read() to only return after the tracepoint, rather
than having lots of early-returns.

526dbbe087 hw/gpio: Add GPIO model for Nuvoton NPCM7xx
The NPCM7xx chips have multiple GPIO controllers that are mostly
identical except for some minor differences like the reset values of
some registers. Each controller controls up to 32 pins.

Each individual pin is modeled as a pair of unnamed GPIOs -- one for
emitting the actual pin state, and one for driving the pin externally.
Like the nRF51 GPIO controller, a gpio level may be negative, which
means the pin is not driven, or floating.

4921a0ce86 hw/riscv: Move sifive_gpio model to hw/gpio
This is an effort to clean up the hw/riscv directory. Ideally it
should only contain the RISC-V SoC / machine codes plus generic
codes. Let's move sifive_gpio model to hw/gpio directory.

Note this also removes the trace-events in the hw/riscv directory,
since gpio is the only supported trace target in that directory.

500016e5db trace-events: Shorten file names in comments
We spell out sub/dir/ in sub/dir/trace-events' comments pointing to
source files.  That's because when trace-events got split up, the
comments were moved verbatim.

Delete the sub/dir/ part from these comments.  Gets rid of several
misspellings.

7760636309 trace: enforce that every trace-events file has a final newline
When generating the trace-events-all file, the build system simply
concatenates all the individual trace-events files. If any one of those
files does not have a final newline, the printf format string will have
the contents of the first line of the next file appended to it, which is
usually a '#' comment.

805f61bbb3 hw/gpio/nrf51_gpio: Add nRF51 GPIO peripheral
This adds a model of the nRF51 GPIO peripheral.

Reference Manual: http://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/pdf/nRF51_RM_v3.0.pdf

The nRF51 series microcontrollers support up to 32 GPIO pins in various configurations.
The pins can be used as input pins with pull-ups or pull-down.
Furthermore, three different output driver modes per level are
available (disconnected, standard, high-current).

The GPIO-Peripheral has a mechanism for detecting level changes which is
not featured in this model.
