to contain headers shared by kernel and userland (mainly libroot).
* Moved quite a few private kernel headers to the new location. Split
several kernel headers into a shared part and one that is still kernel
private. Adjusted all affected Jamfiles and source in the standard x86
build accordingly. The build for other architectures and for test code
may be broken.
* Quite a bit of userland code still includes private kernel headers.
Mostly those are <util/*> headers. The ones that aren't strictly
kernel-only should be moved to some other place (maybe
headers/private/shared/util).

* Extended the scope of the Revert feature to include changes to the time zone.
* Moved the Revert button out of the tab view, so that it indicates the above

- Major cleanup of Appearance prefs - colors are now dynamically
read from the app_server, and updating them also works, but
triggers a bug: the state of the current window somehow gets
confused, i.e. if I update the panel background color, for some
reason the color of the BButtons in the appearance pref change color
and also the textviews begin misbehaving. Have not yet tracked down
the cause of this, but newly created windows after making the change
do show up with the updated color and behave properly. Also vastly
simplified the pref and cleaned up some obsolete definitions.

First commit :) Hi everybody!

management
* added labels for partitions in the DiskView
* added selection via clicking a partition in the DiskView
* indicated menu items for unimplemented features
* added help message for freshly opened DriveSetup
* added TODO file with some of my ideas for the next steps
* refactored adoption of current disk/partition, the disk is not
unnecessarily deleted and recreated anymore
* gone is the colorfulness, the partitions are colored in greys according
to their level in the hierarchy

MainWindow::_Initialize()... setting the name and block size should work,
though I have not tested this yet due to lack of available partitions.

BPartition::GetInitializationParameterEditor() accordingly.

* sort the partitions by id (TODO: should be disk offset, but works as
intended now)
* expand the partition tree entries by default
* renamed DriveVisitor to ListPopulatorVisitor, moved implementation into
class definition
* added MountAllVisitor and used it to implement according menu item
* added menu item members to MainWindow, so it keeps the pointers
* added MainWindow::_EnabledDisableMenuItems() which looks for the
current disk and partition and their properties to en-/disable the items
* moved BDiskDevice member from DiskView to MainWindow, renamed to
fCurrentDisk
* implemented mounting and unmounting the currently selected partition,
mounting works, unmounting does not work as in Tracker, but the error
description is not as helpful, or just as helpful, since Force Unmount
does not work in Tracker at the moment
* implemented initializing the selected partition, not tested to the end,
but likely works, so beware! (TODO: finish the parameter window and use it,
partitions are hardcoded to "BFS Init Test" and 2048 blocksize). The
process displays a warning at the beginning and another one at the end
before writing anything to disk, but please do take it seriously... :-)
* store and restore the listview column settings (width of columns mostly)
* more appropriate usage of the BDiskDeviceRoster API
* improved DiskView display a little with frames and more contrast in the
colors
* implemented FrameResized() to adapt the box layout
* no longer pass disk pointer to BDiskDeviceRoster::VisitEachPartition(),
since it will overwrite it!
* no longer use BDiskDeviceRoster at all, BPartition::VisitEachDescendant()
is what we need
* added a WIP InitParamsPanel, does not compile, but is not added to the
Jamfile yet, it will be a blocking panel like a BAlert and will later
be refactored into the parameter editor add-on for BFS
git-svn-id: file:///srv/svn/repos/haiku/haiku/trunk@23545 a95241bf-73f2-0310-859d-f6bbb57e9c96
* the Revert button always returns to the settings which were active
when the preflet was started
* the Defaults button always applies the default settings (the Revert
button then still reverts to the original settings instead of those
which were active when "Defaults" was pressed)
* the enabled state of the two buttons is correctly maintained
* code cleanup and refactoring
Thanks a lot, aldeck!

* it is replaced by a "icon view label outline" feature that renders a black
or white outline around the text of a label under an icon. This can be used
for background images that have a lot of contrast and is visually more
pleasing (IMHO) than the text box in the workspace color (but the outline
could of course still be improved as well)
the outline or "false bold width" feature is a new BFont feature in Haiku
* Tracker appeared to have a disabled feature to install default background
images, I enabled this feature and rewrote it a bit to use our big logo
from the artwork folder, the placement is for 800x600, so not optimal for
larger desktops, but at least it is shown by default on new installations
or rather "fresh" images
* changed the way the dotted underline is rendered under links, accidentally,
this fixes the bug that it was not dotted at all since a while, which is
a bug in app_server or BView not tracking the need to update the drawing
pattern in certain situations (this bug needs to be fixed too of course)

* reading/writing interface configuration data is now working properly
* at boot, net_server will overwrite the configuration with settings retrieved
via DHCP, though
* refactoring/renaming
changes by myself:
* fixed warnings and cleaned up in Settings::ReadConfiguration(), when the
nameservers are parsed
* fixed warning in EthernetSettingsView::_SaveAdaptersConfiguration(), changed
the loop to do without "isOpen", I think it was broken in two ways before:
- it would use the fp pointer after closing the file (isOpen was not
maintained), and if that would have worked, it would have overwritten the
interface configuration saved in an earlier loop iteration, now it should
write all interfaces that are not set to autoconfigure

For the selected printer the Printers preflet icon was used.
For not selected printer the Printer filetype icon is used.
The change of the Printers preflet icon to the vector format changed its appearance, so the two did not match anymore.
Using the Printers preflet icon for the selected printer is a sub-optimal solution.
Now the selected printer icon is created at runtime.
A check mark bitmap is drawn over the "not selected" printer icon.
Someone feel free to create a version in vector format of that bitmap.

There is still work to be done.
I did some code formatting as well as created the Jamfile and rdef. I copied
the R5 Joysticks bitmap icons, but am working on a Haiku vector icon. For now I
just copied the Fonts icon for purposes of having something in the rdef.

on the screen when you first start it (very annoying).

* Moved Apply button into controls box (resolution, etc.), so its meaning is more obvious.
* Revert now resets the whole screen settings for all workspaces to the configuration at the start of the preflet.
* In confirmation window, renamed Revert to Undo because that's what it actually does (it has nothing to do with the Revert in the main dialog).
* Disabled Defaults button (for now) since it doesn't use the screen's preferred settings and added a few TODOs.
* This should fix bug #321.
Note: Unfortunately, it won't work correctly on R5 because BScreen can only access the active workspace, it seems (locally, I used activate_workspace() for testing the preflet). Also, Haiku doesn't yet support setting screen preferences for each workspace individually, so I couldn't test it.
I hope my code isn't too terrible. :)

* Fixed compilation under R5.
* Made Revert more user-friendly by also allowing to revert settings to the previously active state after having pressed Apply. This only works if you didn't make new changes in the meantime. In that case, only the new changes will be reverted.

is started.
Applied coding style.

will be hidden, and on resolution change, you get a message that tells you that the change
will take effect with the next reboot.
The "vesa" mode file will be written on exit if any changes were made.

- Shuffled the resource app_flags entry as it somehow fixed corrupt version/description;icons for several files here. It seems this entry must be the last one before the icons.

* The TimeSlider now sends an update message for ongoing changes, and an
invokation message when the mouse button was released (standard BSlider
behaviour).
* Fixed incorrect initial string when the screen saver should start after
30 seconds of inactivity.
