thorpej 5c099b14c1 Bring the telnet situation back into better shape. Specifically,
pull in just about all of the differences from the crypto-us telnet
suite (which includes Kerberos 4 and connection encryption support).
Also bring in the Kerberos 5 support from the Heimdal telnet, and
frob a little so that it can work with the non-Heimdal telnet suite.

There is still some work left to do, specifically:
- Add Heimdal's ticket forwarding support to the Berkeley Kerberos 4
  module.
- Add connection encryption support to the Heimdal Kerberos 5
module. Hints on this can be taken from the MIT Kerberos 5
module which still exists in crypto-us.

However, even with the shortcomings listed above, this is a
better situation than using the stock Heimdal telnet suite,
which does not understand the IPSec policy stuff, and is also
based on much older code which contains bugs that we have already
fixed in the NetBSD sources.

from the crypto-us libdes.

thorpej 1013bcab9c Add cleaned up versions of des_set_random_generator_seed(),
des_new_random_key(), and des_init_random_number_generator()
from the crypto-us libdes.

While I'm here, fix a serious bug in des_init_random_number_generator()
whereby the accumlated data to be hashed was zero'd *before* actually
being hashed. NOTE: The bug only affects people who are not using the
rnd(4) in-kernel random number generator, and it is worth noting that
the resulting keys are not always the same, but are likely easy to
determine.

itojun 92e64a4a0d sync with almost-latest KAME IPsec. full changelog would be too big
to mention here. notable changes are like below.

kernel:
- make PF_KEY kernel interface more robust against broken input stream.
it includes complete internal structure change in sys/netkey/key.c.
- remove non-RFC compliant change in PF_KEY API, in particular,
in struct sadb_msg. we cannot just change these standard structs.
  sadb_x_sa2 is introduced instead.
- remove prototypes for pfkey_xx functions from /usr/include/net/pfkeyv2.h.
these functions are not supplied in /usr/lib.

setkey(8):
- get/delete does not require "-m mode" (ignored with warning, if you
  specify it)
- spddelete takes direction specification

thorpej 934426175d - An initialized variable kept LOCAL_CREDS from being set on
the listen socket properly. This caused spurious rpcbind(8)
  failures.
- Don't define a "credmsg" structure. Instead, dynamically
allocate a buffer of the correct size of the message with
CMSG_SPACE() and free it when we're done. This gets the
size of the buffer right on LP64 platforms, which has padding
  for alignment thrown in.
- Check for non-present or truncated cred messages when recvmsg(2)
  returns.

enami d76da5f70c Fix the bug introduced in rev 1.28 and actually caused failure on alpha;
In the function malloc_make_chunks, don't define the local variable ``l'',
which is used to hold the actual size of pginfo, as size_t. Define it as
a signed integer as before. We expect it to become zero or negative value,
and we know that it is much smaller than pagesize and it is small enough to
fit in signed interger.

itojun 2dc247fc34 make CMSG_ALIGN always synchronize with kernel's idea of ALIGNBYTES.
ancillary data alignment will be ALIGNBYTES, not sizeof(long) - 1, from now.

CMSG_xx will NOT resolve into constant. if you use CMSG_xx to allocate
arrays, you'll lose.

bump shlib minor for libc.

NOTE: if you are on top of arch with ALIGNBYTES != sizeof(long) - 1,
you need to recompile IPv6-related binaries. there is no way to guarantee
backward compat in this aspect. sorry for this. this should be the last
backward compat breakage for IPv6-related ancillary data manipulation.

itojun 7b48263c7b (rcmd.c) to make Zoularis happier, pass sa_len separately from sockaddrs.
this changes function prototype for __ivalid*.
This commit breaks binary compatibility for __ivalid*. I believe this can be
forgiven due to the following:
- this is not really exported function. no function prototype is in headers.
function name starts with underbars. No third-party applications are
  expected to use it.
- the function was introduced very recently, when rcmd.c was made IPv6-ready.
- the only customer in NetBSD tree is lpd.

(lpd.c) sync with rcmd.c change.
