e5cba10ee1 hw/intc/arm_gicv3: Support multiple redistributor regions
Our GICv3 QOM interface includes an array property
redist-region-count which allows board models to specify that the
registributor registers are not in a single contiguous range, but
split into multiple pieces.  We implemented this for KVM, but
currently the TCG GICv3 model insists that there is only one region.
You can see the limit being hit with a setup like:
  qemu-system-aarch64 -machine virt,gic-version=3 -smp 124

Add support for split regions to the TCG GICv3.  To do this we switch
from allocating a simple array of MemoryRegions to an array of
GICv3RedistRegion structs so that we can use the GICv3RedistRegion as
the opaque pointer in the MemoryRegion read/write callbacks.  Each
GICv3RedistRegion contains the MemoryRegion, a backpointer allowing
the read/write callback to get hold of the GICv3State, and an index
which allows us to calculate which CPU's redistributor is being
accessed.

Note that arm_gicv3_kvm always passes in NULL as the ops argument
to gicv3_init_irqs_and_mmio(), so the only MemoryRegion read/write
callbacks we need to update to handle this new scheme are the
gicv3_redist_read/write functions used by the emulated GICv3.

046164155a hw/intc/arm_gicv3: Set GICR_TYPER.Last correctly when nb_redist_regions > 1
The 'Last' bit in the GICR_TYPER GICv3 redistributor register is
supposed to be set to 1 if this is the last redistributor in a series
of contiguous redistributor pages.  Currently we set Last only for
the redistributor for CPU (num_cpu - 1).  This only works if there is
a single redistributor region; if there are multiple redistributor
regions then we need to set the Last bit for the last redistributor
in each region.

This doesn't cause any problems currently because only the KVM GICv3
supports multiple redistributor regions, and it ignores the value in
GICv3State::gicr_typer.  But we need to fix this before we can enable
support for multiple regions in the emulated GICv3.

01b5ab8cc0 hw/intc/arm_gicv3: Move checking of redist-region-count to arm_gicv3_common_realize
The GICv3 devices have an array property redist-region-count.
Currently we check this for errors (bad values) in
gicv3_init_irqs_and_mmio(), just before we use it.  Move this error
checking to the arm_gicv3_common_realize() function, where we
sanity-check all of the other base-class properties. (This will
always be before gicv3_init_irqs_and_mmio() is called, because
that function is called in the subclass realize methods, after
they have called the parent-class realize.)

The motivation for this refactor is:
 * we would like to use the redist_region_count[] values in
   arm_gicv3_common_realize() in a subsequent patch, so we need
   to have already done the sanity-checking first
 * this removes the only use of the Error** argument to
   gicv3_init_irqs_and_mmio(), so we can remove some error-handling
   boilerplate

Implemented lpi processing at redistributor to get lpi config info
from lpi configuration table,determine priority,set pending state in
lpi pending table and forward the lpi to cpuif.Added logic to invoke
redistributor lpi processing with translated LPI which set/clear LPI
from ITS device as part of ITS INT,CLEAR,DISCARD command and
GITS_TRANSLATER processing.

a27bd6c779 Include hw/qdev-properties.h less
In my "build everything" tree, changing hw/qdev-properties.h triggers
a recompile of some 2700 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and
objects that don't depend on qemu/osdep.h).

Many places including hw/qdev-properties.h (directly or via hw/qdev.h)
actually need only hw/qdev-core.h.  Include hw/qdev-core.h there
instead.

hw/qdev.h is actually pointless: all it does is include hw/qdev-core.h
and hw/qdev-properties.h, which in turn includes hw/qdev-core.h.
Replace the remaining uses of hw/qdev.h by hw/qdev-properties.h.

While there, delete a few superfluous inclusions of hw/qdev-core.h.

Touching hw/qdev-properties.h now recompiles some 1200 objects.

d645427057 Include migration/vmstate.h less
In my "build everything" tree, changing migration/vmstate.h triggers a
recompile of some 2700 out of 6600 objects (not counting tests and

hw/hw.h supposedly includes it for convenience.  Several other headers
include it just to get VMStateDescription.  The previous commit made
that unnecessary.

Include migration/vmstate.h only where it's still needed.  Touching it
now recompiles only some 1600 objects.

341823c172 hw/intc/arm_gicv3_common: Move gicd shift bug handling to gicv3_post_load
The code currently in gicv3_gicd_no_migration_shift_bug_post_load()
that handles migration from older QEMU versions with a particular
bug is misplaced. We need to run this after migration in all cases,
not just the cases where the "arm_gicv3/gicd_no_migration_shift_bug"
subsection is present, so it must go in a post_load hook for the
top level VMSD, not for the subsection. Move it.

326049cc8e hw/intc/arm_gicv3_common: Move post_load hooks to top-level VMSD
Contrary to the the impression given in docs/devel/migration.rst,
the migration code does not run the pre_load hook for a
subsection unless the subsection appears on the wire, and so
this is not a place where you can set the default value for
state for the "subsection not present" case. Instead this needs
to be done in a pre_load hook for whatever is the parent VMSD
of the subsection.

We got this wrong in two of the subsection definitions in
the GICv3 migration structs; fix this.

adc4fda6d5 hw/intc/arm_gicv3_common: Combine duplicate .subsections in vmstate_gicv3_cpu
Commit 6692aac411 accidentally introduced a second initialization
of the .subsections field of vmstate_gicv3_cpu, instead of adding
the new subsection to the existing list. The effect of this was
probably that migration of GICv3 with virtualization enabled was
broken (or alternatively that migration of ICC_SRE_EL1 was broken,
depending on which of the two initializers the compiler used).
Combine the two into a single list.

78e9ddd75e hw/intc/arm_gicv3_common: Give no-migration-shift-bug subsection a needed function
Currently the migration code incorrectly treats a subsection with
no .needed function pointer as if it was the subsection list
terminator -- it is ignored and so is everything after it.
Work around this by giving vmstate_gicv3_gicd_no_migration_shift_bug
a 'needed' function that always returns true.

1e575b6664 hw/intc/arm_gicv3: Introduce redist-region-count array property
To prepare for multiple redistributor regions, we introduce
an array of uint32_t properties that stores the redistributor
count of each redistributor region.

Non accelerated VGICv3 only supports a single redistributor region.
The capacity of all redist regions is checked against the number of
vcpus.

Machvirt is updated to set those properties, ie. a single
redistributor region with count set to the number of vcpus
capped by 123.

910e204841 arm_gicv3_kvm: kvm_dist_get/put: skip the registers banked by GICR
While we skip the GIC_INTERNAL irqs, we don't change the register offset
accordingly. This will overlap the GICR registers value and leave the
last GIC_INTERNAL irq's registers out of update.

Fix this by skipping the registers banked by GICR.

Also for migration compatibility if the migration source (old version
qemu) doesn't send gicd_no_migration_shift_bug = 1 to destination, then
we shift the data of PPI to get the right data for SPI.

44b1ff319c migration: pre_save return int
Modify the pre_save method on VMStateDescription to return an int
rather than void so that it potentially can fail.

Changed zillions of devices to make them return 0; the only
case I've made it return non-0 is hw/intc/s390_flic_kvm.c that already
had an error_report/return case.

Note: If you add an error exit in your pre_save you must emit
an error_report to say why.

We change the restoration priority of both the GICv3 and ITS. The
GICv3 must be restored before the ITS and the ITS needs to be restored
before PCIe devices since it translates their MSI transactions.

In case of usecase like CPU reset, we need to reset

4eb833b5df hw/intc/gicv3: Add data fields for virtualization support
As the first step in adding support for the virtualization
extensions to the GICv3 emulation:
 * add the necessary data fields to the state structures
 * add the fields to the migration state, as a subsection
   which is only present if virtualization is enabled

The use of a subsection means we retain migration
compatibility as EL2 is not enabled on any CPUs currently.

ce187c3c15 hw/intc/arm_gicv3: Implement functions to identify next pending irq
Implement the GICv3 logic to recalculate the highest priority pending
interrupt for each CPU after some part of the GIC state has changed.
We avoid unnecessary full recalculation where possible.

3faf2b0cd5 hw/intc/arm_gicv3: Move irq lines into GICv3CPUState structure
Move the GICv3 parent_irq and parent_fiq pointers into the
GICv3CPUState structure rather than giving them their own array.
This will make it easy to assert the IRQ and FIQ lines for a
particular CPU interface without having to know or calculate
the CPU index for the GICv3CPUState we are working on.

da34e65cb4 include/qemu/osdep.h: Don't include qapi/error.h
Commit 57cb38b included qapi/error.h into qemu/osdep.h to get the
Error typedef.  Since then, we've moved to include qemu/osdep.h
everywhere.  Its file comment explains: "To avoid getting into
possible circular include dependencies, this file should not include
any other QEMU headers, with the exceptions of config-host.h,
compiler.h, os-posix.h and os-win32.h, all of which are doing a
similar job to this file and are under similar constraints."
qapi/error.h doesn't do a similar job, and it doesn't adhere to
similar constraints: it includes qapi-types.h.  That's in excess of
100KiB of crap most .c files don't actually need.

Add the typedef to qemu/typedefs.h, and include that instead of
qapi/error.h.  Include qapi/error.h in .c files that need it and don't
get it now.  Include qapi-types.h in qom/object.h for uint16List.

Update scripts/clean-includes accordingly.  Update it further to match
reality: replace config.h by config-target.h, add sysemu/os-posix.h,
sysemu/os-win32.h.  Update the list of includes in the qemu/osdep.h
comment quoted above similarly.

This reduces the number of objects depending on qapi/error.h from "all
of them" to less than a third.  Unfortunately, the number depending on
qapi-types.h shrinks only a little.  More work is needed for that one.

ff8f06ee76 hw/intc: Implement GIC-500 base class
This class is to be used by both software and KVM implementations of GICv3

Currently it is mostly a placeholder, but in future it is supposed to hold
qemu's representation of GICv3 state, which is necessary for migration.

The interface of this class is fully compatible with GICv2 one. This is
done in order to simplify integration with existing code.
