Drop the use of ppc4xx_init() and duplicate a bit of code related to
clocks in the SoC realize routine. We will clean that up in the
following patches.
ppc_dcr_init() simply allocates default DCR handlers for the CPU. Maybe
this could be done in model initializer of the CPU families needing it.

QOM'ified devices will be reintroduced one by one. Start with the

g_new(T, n) is neater than g_malloc(sizeof(T) * n). It's also safer,
for two reasons. One, it catches multiplication overflowing size_t.
Two, it returns T * rather than void *, which lets the compiler catch
more type errors.
This commit only touches allocations with size arguments of the form
sizeof(T).

QEMU installs a custom U-Boot in-memory descriptor to share board
information with Linux, which means that the QEMU machine was
initially designed to support booting Linux directly without using the
loaded FW. But, it's not that simple because the CPU still starts at
address 0xfffffffc where nothing is currently mapped. Support must
have been broken these last years.
Since we can not find a "ppc405_rom.bin" firmware file, request one to
be specified on the command line. A consequence of this change is that
the machine can be booted directly from Linux without any FW being
loaded. This is still broken and the CPU start address will be fixed
in the next changes.

The PPC 405 CPU is a system-on-a-chip, so all 405 machines are very similar,
except for some external periphery. However, the periphery of the 'taihu'

been implemented), so there is not much value added by this board. The users

The default addresses to load the kernel, fdt, initrd of AMCC boards
in U-Boot v2015.10 are :
"kernel_addr_r=1000000\0"
"fdt_addr_r=1800000\0"
"ramdisk_addr_r=1900000\0"
The taihu is one of these boards, the ref405ep is not but we don't
have much information on it and both boards have a very similar
address space layout.
Also, if loaded at address 0, U-Boot will partially overwrite the
uImage because of a bug in get_ram_size() (U-Boot v2015.10) not
restoring properly the probed RAM contents and because the exception
vectors are installed in the same range. Finally, a gzipped kernel
image will be uncompressed at 0x0. These are all good reasons for not
mappping a kernel image at this address.
Change the kernel load address to match U-Boot expectations and fix
loading.

Switch the ppc405_uc boards to directly creating and configuring the
UIC, rather than doing it via the old ppcuic_init() helper function.
We retain the API feature of ppc405ep_init() where it passes back
something allowing the callers to wire up devices to the UIC if
they need to, even though neither of the callsites currently makes
use of this ability -- instead of passing back the qemu_irq array
we pass back the UIC DeviceState.
This fixes a trivial Coverity-detected memory leak where
we were leaking the array of IRQs returned by ppcuic_init().

Our pflash devices are simplistically modelled has having
"num-blocks" sectors of equal size "sector-length". Real hardware
commonly has sectors of different sizes. How our "sector-length"
property is related to the physical device's multiple sector sizes
is unclear.
Helper functions pflash_cfi01_register() and pflash_cfi02_register()
create a pflash device, set properties including "sector-length" and
"num-blocks", and realize. They take parameters @size, @sector_len

QOMification left parameter @size unused. Obviously, @size should
match @sector_len and @nb_blocs, i.e. size == sector_len * nb_blocs.

Machine "ref405ep" maps its flash memory at address 2^32 - image size.
Image size is rounded up to the next multiple of 64KiB. Useless,
because pflash_cfi02_realize() fails with "failed to read the initial
flash content" unless the rounding is a no-op.
If the image size exceeds 0x80000 Bytes, we overlap first SRAM, then
other stuff. No idea how that would play out, but useful outcomes
seem unlikely.
Map the flash memory at fixed address 0xFFF80000 with size 512KiB,
regardless of image size, to match the physical hardware.
Machine "taihu" maps its boot flash memory similarly. The code even
has a comment /* XXX: should check that size is 2MB */, followed by
disabled code to adjust the size to 2MiB regardless of image size.
Its code to map its application flash memory looks the same, except
there the XXX comment asks for 32MiB, and the code to adjust the size
isn't disabled. Note that pflash_cfi02_realize() fails with "failed
to read the initial flash content" for images smaller than 32MiB.
Map the boot flash memory at fixed address 0xFFE00000 with size 2MiB,
to match the physical hardware. Delete dead code from application
flash mapping, and simplify some.

Some lines were then manually tweaked to pass checkpatch and some curly
braces were added to match QEMU style.

qemu-system-ppcemb has been once split of qemu-system-ppc to support
CPU page sizes < 4096 for some of the embedded 4xx PowerPC CPUs.
However, there was hardly any OS available in the wild that really
used such small page sizes (Linux uses 4096 on PPC), so there is
no known recent use case for this separate build anymore. It's
rather cumbersome to maintain a separate set of config switches for
this, and it's wasting compile and test time of all the developers
who have to build all QEMU targets to verify that their changes did
not break anything.
Except for the small CPU page sizes, qemu-system-ppc can be used as
a full replacement for qemu-system-ppcemb since it contains all the
embedded 4xx PPC boards and CPUs, too. Thus let's start the deprecation
process for qemu-system-ppcemb to see whether somebody still needs
the small page sizes or whether we could finally remove this unloved
separate build.

Use the new functions memory_region_init_{ram,rom,rom_device}()
instead of manually calling the _nomigrate() version and then
vmstate_register_ram_global().
Patch automatically created using coccinelle script:
spatch --in-place -sp_file scripts/coccinelle/memory-region-init-ram.cocci -dir hw
(As it turns out, there are no instances of the rom and
rom_device functions that are caught by this script.)

Rename memory_region_init_ram() to memory_region_init_ram_nomigrate().
This leaves the way clear for us to provide a memory_region_init_ram()
which does handle migration.
