The only PCMCIA subsystem was the PXA2xx SoC and the machines
using it, which have now been removed. Although in theory
we have a few machine types which have PCMCIA (e.g. kzm,
the strongarm machines, sh4's sh7750), none of those machines
implement their PCMCIA controller, and they're all old and
no longer very interesting machine types.
Rather than keeping all the PCMCIA code in-tree without any
active users of it, delete it. If we need PCMCIA in future
we can always resurrect it.

A9MPCORE, ARM11MPCORE and A15MPCORE are defined twice, once in
hw/cpu/Kconfig and once in hw/arm/Kconfig. This is only possible
by accident, since hw/cpu/Kconfig is never included from hw/Kconfig.
Fix it by declaring the switches only in hw/cpu/Kconfig (since the
related files reside in the hw/cpu/ folder) and by making sure that
the file hw/cpu/Kconfig is now properly included from hw/Kconfig.

The XEN_EMU option will cover core Xen support in target/, which exists
only for x86 with KVM today but could theoretically also be implemented
on Arm/Aarch64 and with TCG or other accelerators (if anyone wants to
run the gauntlet of struct layout compatibility, errno mapping, and the
rest of that fui).
It will also cover the support for architecture-independent grant table
and event channel support which will be added in hw/i386/kvm/ (on the
basis that the non-KVM support is very theoretical and making it not use
KVM directly seems like gratuitous overengineering at this point).
The XEN_BUS option is for the xenfv platform support, which will now be
used both by XEN_EMU and by real Xen.
The XEN option remains dependent on the Xen runtime libraries, and covers
support for real Xen. Some code which currently resides under CONFIG_XEN
will be moving to CONFIG_XEN_BUS over time as the direct dependencies on
Xen runtime libraries are eliminated. The Xen PCI platform device will
also reside under CONFIG_XEN_BUS.

A CXL 2.0 component is any entity in the CXL topology. All components
have a analogous function in PCIe. Except for the CXL host bridge, all
have a PCIe config space that is accessible via the common PCIe
mechanisms. CXL components are enumerated via DVSEC fields in the
extended PCIe header space. CXL components will minimally implement some
subset of CXL.mem and CXL.cache registers defined in 8.2.5 of the CXL
2.0 specification. Two headers and a utility library are introduced to
support the minimum functionality needed to enumerate components.
The cxl_pci header manages bits associated with PCI, specifically the
DVSEC and related fields. The cxl_component.h variant has data
structures and APIs that are useful for drivers implementing any of the
CXL 2.0 components. The library takes care of making use of the DVSEC
bits and the CXL.[mem|cache] registers. Per spec, the registers are
little endian.
None of the mechanisms required to enumerate a CXL capable hostbridge
are introduced at this point.
Note that the CXL.mem and CXL.cache registers used are always 4B wide.
It's possible in the future that this constraint will not hold.

-machine xlnx-zcu102.canbus1=canbus1 \
-object can-host-socketcan,id=socketcan0,if=vcan0,canbus=canbus0 \
-object can-host-socketcan,id=socketcan1,if=vcan0,canbus=canbus1

It's been deprecated since QEMU v3.1. We've explicitly asked in the
deprecation message that people should speak up on qemu-devel in case
they are still actively using the bluetooth part of QEMU, but nobody
ever replied that they are really still using it.
I've tried it on my own to use this bluetooth subsystem for one of my
guests, but I was also not able to get it running anymore: When I was
trying to pass-through a real bluetooth device, either the guest did
not see the device at all, or the guest crashed.
Even worse for the emulated device: When running
qemu-system-x86_64 -bt device:keyboard
QEMU crashes once you hit a key.
So it seems like the bluetooth stack is not only neglected, it is
completely bitrotten, as far as I can tell. The only attention that
this code got during the past years were some CVEs that have been
spotted there. So this code is a burden for the developers, without
any real benefit anymore. Time to remove it.
Note: hw/bt/Kconfig only gets cleared but not removed here yet.
Otherwise there is a problem with the *-softmmu/config-devices.mak.d
dependency files - they still contain a reference to this file which
gets evaluated first on some build hosts, before the file gets
properly recreated. To avoid breaking these builders, we still need
the file around for some time. It will get removed in a couple of
weeks instead.
