We are trying to collect a minimal hard disk or floppy disk image for all

free supported operating systems that Bochs can run. Each TAR file
|
|
contains everything you need to try out the operating system, including
|
|
a .bochsrc, BIOS and VGA BIOS. The goal is to make it very easy for
|
|

1 Gig Slackware Linux disk image from Michael Calabrese. This is a

178-meg download, and uncompresses to about 1 Gig. If you have
|
|
the bandwidth, it could save you hours of installing. If you have bunzip2,
|
|
there's also a
|
|
<a href="http://bochs.theb0x.org/diskimage/hd-1gb-linux.img.bz2">bz2-compressed
|
|
version</a>, which is 17 meg smaller. This version has X windows installed
|
|

special about this image is that in includes X windows, with an X11
|
|
configuration file that REALLY WORKS!
