With the impending release of ToaruOS 1.0, it's time to look forward and plan out what we want to do with 2.0:

  • x86-64 port (see misaka)
  • SMP
  • AHCI
  • USB
  • complete VFS rewrite
  • full (source) compatibility with existing applications (+/- some bug fixes with pointer sizes), and possibly modules?

The key point of the 2.0 target is that we rebuild internals, many from scratch, while remaining compatible.
