3eb244d801 Retire varargs.h support. Move machine/stdarg.h logic into MI 
sys/stdarg.h and expect compiler to provide proper builtins, defaulting
to the GCC interface. lint still has a special fallback.
Reduce abuse of _BSD_VA_LIST_ by defining __va_list by default and
derive va_list as required by standards.

b5dc3d4af2 A driver for HP 3D DriverGuard; a LIS3LV02DL-based accelerometer. Tested on 
HP NC4400. Like aps(4), this is commented out in the GENERIC kernels.

49511bba25 Change VOP_BWRITE() to take a vnode as its first argument like all other 
VOPs do.  Layered file systems no longer have to modify bp->b_vp and run
into trouble when an async VOP_BWRITE() uses the wrong vnode.

- change all occurences of VOP_BWRITE(bp) to VOP_BWRITE(bp->b_vp, bp).
- remove layer_bwrite().
- welcome to 5.99.55

404ff31a48 Allow quoting of embedded shell metacharacters in locate.conf(5). 
The shell_quote function here is identical to that in postinstall
and etcupdate.

This should fix PR 45130 from Greg Woods.

0684fd552b Add OBJCOPY_ELF2AOUT_FLAGS for some arm ports to create a.out binaries 
using objcopy(1) for old firmware, shared among src/distrib and
src/sys/arch/${MACHIHNE}/conf/Makefile.${MACHINE}.inc.

cc65ce8e22 Augment previous. Use -Wno-uninitialized for sh3 in general, not just 
dreamcast.  The problem is not sh3 per-se, but the fact that for sh3
we use -Os by default.  That causes false positives since gcc doesn't
detect that e.g. a variable is set and used under the same condition
in different "if" statements.

XXX: This should probably check for optimization level instead,
though, for all I know, phase of moon might be a contributing cause
too.

XXX2: MACHINE_CPU is set in bsd.own.mk and is not available here, so
we have to spell the test in terms of MACHINE_ARCH.

5d43254f4a Fix the value of "appdefaultdir" that ends up in native X .pc files. 
(It should be "app-defaults" but was "app-default", probably because
of a typo; it's been wrong ever since this logic was put in two and a
half years ago, and as app-defaults files are a legacy mechanism it
took this long for anyone to notice.) Should be pulled up to -5.

65fe75b53f After making sure USE_PIGZGZIP is defined, add a TOOL_GZIP which will be 
gzip or ${TOOL_PIGZ}.  Use of gzip can be replaced with ${TOOL_GZIP} and
automatically get to use pigz if USE_PIGZGZIP is defined as "yes".  This
avoid having to special case each of gzip.

eff7c483c3 Rather than requiring the user to know the internal encoding of sensor

448e1c49b2 Add mount -o extattr option to enable extended attributs (corrently only 
for UFS1).
Remove kernel option for EA backing store autocreation and do it by
default. Add a sysctl so that autocreated attriutr size can be modified.

a2c4975d63 build evbppc modules in 3 different flavours: 
- oea (default)
	- ibm4xx
	- booke

this, together with earlier machine_module[] work, should allow evbppc
platforms to use modules.

691f9bca2f - Add some new devices (from OpenBSD rev. 1.11-1.12,1.15 and 1.20). 
- force usb to send a zero length packet on the end of usb packets
  which happen to be a multple of 64 bytes, to indicate end of packet.

b52bb12959 provide a new 'bluetooth' rc.d script, to handle Bluetooth configuration 
in a simpler manner. This replaces btattach, btconfig, bthcid, btdevctl
and sdpd scripts, and also should not require any configuration settings
other than "bluetooth=YES", though the full range of configurations is
still possible.

a216da57a6 Default to -Wno-sign-compare -Wno-pointer-sign for clang. 
Push -Wno-array-bounds down to the cases that depend on it.
Selectively disable warnings for 3rd party software or non-trivial
issues to be reviewed later to get clang -Werror to build most of the
tree.

5fafa9c424 -in the descriptor for encryption xforms, split the "blocksize" field 
into "blocksize" and "IV size"
-add an "reinit" function pointer which, if set, means that the xform
 does its IV handling itself and doesn't want the default CBC handling
 by the framework (poor name, but left that way to avoid unecessary
 differences)
This syncs with Open/FreeBSD, purpose is to allow non-CBC transforms.
Refer to ivsize instead of blocksize where appropriate.
(At this point, blocksize and ivsize are identical.)

6bbebf8328 Enable c99 mode by default. 
This has the side effect of complaining for missing prototypes
implicit type declarations and missing return statements.

NB:	I've only ran a build on amd64, so other platforms MI code might break.
	If you can't wait for me to fix them, revert this commit.

21bb82bc2e Remove any stale .fifo files when doing 'test'. These may be leaked if 
the user aborts the execution of atf-run with Ctrl+C, which will prevent
a subsequent 'make test' from working at all.
