Fix a rather annoying problem where the sockaddr_dl which holds
...
the link level name for the interface (ifp->if_sadl) is allocated
before ifp->if_addrlen is initialized, which could lead to allocating
too little space for the link level address.
Do this by splitting allocation of the link level name out of
if_attach() and into if_alloc_sadl(), which is normally called
by functions like ether_ifattach(). Network interfaces which
don't have a link-specific attach routine must call if_alloc_sadl()
themselves (example: gif).
Link level names are freed by if_free_sadl(), which can be called
from e.g. ether_ifdetach(). Drivers never need call if_free_sadl()
themselves as if_detach() will do it if it is not already done.
While here, add the ability to pass an AF_LINK address to
SIOCSIFADDR in ether_ioctl() (this is what caused me to notice
the problem that the above fixes).

Storing four-byte pointers to two-character strings is silly. All the

auxilliary tables used by the disassembler are now char[][].
The main table still uses pointers because:

- GCC spots that most of the formats are shared and makes them pointers to the

Make this actually sort-of-work for 68060 w. disabled FPU (tested), 68LC060,

and I suspect, 68LC040 and 68040V machines. Method used:
1. do NOT use the frames effective address at all
2. do NOT use the frames next instruction address, but
3. restore the "this instruction" pc into the pc field of the frame at the
beginning of the emulation, if we got a frame format 4.
TODO:
A. find the bug in the usage of the frame EA, and revert to using it.
B. find the bug in the usage of the frames next instruction address, and
consider whether it's worthwhile to use it.
C. make the emulation complete.... FEXP FETOM1, and the trigonometric functions
are missing.

Enable the imported ISDN4BSD based ISDN subsystem.
...
This is the kernel part (userland to follow soon) of the latest (and
very probably last) release (version 0.96) of ISDN4BSD. ISDN4BSD has a
homepage at http://www.freebsd-support.de/i4b/ .
It gives the user various ways to use the isdn connection: raw data (via
the i4brbch "raw b-channel" device), ppp (via the isp "isdn PPP" device),
voice/answering machine (the i4btel "telephone" device) and ip over isdn
(the ipr device, "IP over raw ISDN").
Supported are a bunch of common and older cards, more to be added soon
after some cleanup. Currently only the european E-DSS1 variant of the
ISDN D channel protocol is supported.

Change pci_intr_map to get interrupt source information from a "struct
...
pci_attach_args *" instead of from four separate parameters which in
all cases were extracted from the same "struct pci_attach_args".
This both simplifies the driver api, and allows for alternate PCI
interrupt mapping schemes, such as one using the tables described in
the Intel Multiprocessor Spec which describe interrupt wirings for
devices behind pci-pci bridges based on the device's location rather
the bridge's location.

Overhaul of data-abort handling:
...
- Make data_abort_address() return the whole affected range, rather than

- Don't rely on pmap_confess(). Instead, for LDM/STM, behave as if two faults
had occurred, one at each end of the range.

Two batches of changes:

1: Cleanup of syscall() -- treat the arguments as an array of register_t
throughout. This saves a few casts, and generally makes seeing what's

2: Be a little more careful in the handling of data aborts on kernel
addresses: don't use the kernel's map unless the access was actually from
a kernel mode. This is how the arm32 data abort handler behaves.

3. 1 range of length 6 which goes to the end of the ctl i/o.
Make this line up with the MI fdc code by mapping in a range of 4 on the
base i/o and then either direct or submapping the ctl i/o. In the one case
where the BIOS lies and says it's not there just map it in anyways. (but note
