b3763a195c tests/qemu-iotests: Remove the "_supported_os Linux" line from many tests
A lot of tests run fine on FreeBSD and macOS, too - the limitation
to Linux here was likely just copied-and-pasted from other tests.
Thus remove the "_supported_os Linux" line from tests that run
successful in our CI pipelines on FreeBSD and macOS.

11a82d1429 qemu-iotests: Improve portability by searching bash in the $PATH
Bash is not always installed as /bin/bash. In particular on OpenBSD,
the package installs it in /usr/local/bin.
Use the 'env' shebang to search bash in the $PATH.

Patch created mechanically by running:

  $ git grep -lE '#! ?/bin/bash' -- tests/qemu-iotests \
    | while read f; do \
      sed -i 's|^#!.\?/bin/bash$|#!/usr/bin/env bash|' $f; \

8cedcffdc1 iotests: Drop use of bash keyword 'function'
Bash allows functions to be declared with or without the leading
keyword 'function'; but including the keyword does not comply with
POSIX syntax, and is confusing to ksh users where the use of the
keyword changes the scoping rules for functions. Stick to the
POSIX form through iotests.

Done mechanically with:
  sed -i 's/^function //' $(git ls-files tests/qemu-iotests)

bf22957309 qemu-iotests: remove unused variable 'here'
Running
git grep '\$here' tests/qemu-iotests

has 0 hits, which means we are setting a variable that has
no use. It appears that commit e8f8624d removed the last
use. So execute the following cmd to remove all of
the 'here=...' lines as dead code.

sed -i '/^here=/d' $(git grep -l '^here=' tests/qemu-iotests)

44673a0b59 iotests: Pull _filter_actual_image_size from 67/87
Tests 067 and 087 filter the actual image size because it depends on the
host filesystem (and is not part of the respective test). Since this is
generally true, we should have a common filter function for this, so
let's pull out the sed line from both tests into such a function.

b1149c1a2a iotests: use virtio aliases for 067
The default cpu model on s390x does not provide zPCI, which is
not yet wired up on tcg. Moreover, virtio-ccw is the standard
on s390x.

Using virtio-scsi will implicitly pick the right device, so just
switch to that for simplicity.

0153d2f50b block: Remove "options" indirection from blockdev-add
Now that QAPI supports boxed types, we can have unions at the top level
of a command, so let's put our real options directly there for
blockdev-add instead of having a single "options" dict that contains the
real arguments.

blockdev-add is still experimental and we already made substantial
changes to the API recently, so we're free to make changes like this
one, too.

522ce4ecd4 qemu-iotests/067: Avoid blockdev-add with id
We want to remove the 'id' option for blockdev-add. This removes one
user of the option and makes it use only node names.

In order to keep the test meaningful, some instances of query-block that
want to check whether the node still exists and would now turn up empty
must be converted to query-named-block-nodes (which also return the
protocol level node, but that shouldn't hurt).

f436c94102 qemu-iotests: 067: ignore QMP events
The relative ordering of "device_del" return value and the
"DEVICE_DELETED" QMP event depends on the architecture being
tested. On x86 unplugging virtio disks is asynchronous
(=qdev_unplug()= → =hotplug_handler_unplug_request()=) while on s390x
it is synchronous (=qdev_unplug()= → =hotplug_handler_unplug()=). This
leads to the actual output on s390x consistently differing from the
reference output (that was probably produced on x86).

The easiest way to address this is to filter out QMP events in
067. The DEVICE_DELETED event is already getting explicitly tested by
the Python-based test case 139, so the test coverage should be
unaffected. Make use of the recently introduced _filter_qmp_events()
to remove QMP events from the test case output and adjust the
reference output accordingly.

The tr / sed / tr trick used for filtering was suggested by Max Reitz
<mreitz@redhat.com>.

2711fd33a4 qemu-iotests: disable default qemu devices for cross-platform compatibility
This patch fixes an io test suite issue that was introduced with the
commit c88930a686 'qemu-char: Permit only
a single "stdio" character device'. The option supresses the creation of
default devices such as the floopy and cdrom. Output files for test case
067, 071, 081 and 087 need to be updated to accommodate this change.
Use virtio-blk instead of virtio-blk-pci as the device driver for test
case 067. For virtio-blk-pci is the same with virtio-blk as device
driver but other platform such as s390 may not recognize the virtio-blk-pci.

The default devices differ across machines. As the qemu output often
contains these devices (or events for them, like opening a CD tray on
reset), the reference output currently is rather machine-specific.

All existing qemu tests explicitly configure the devices they're working
with, so just pass -nodefaults to qemu by default to disable the default
devices. Update the reference outputs accordingly.

5262caa754 iotests: Prepare for refcount_bits option
Some tests do not work well with certain refcount widths (i.e. you
cannot create internal snapshots with refcount_bits=1), so make those
widths unsupported.

Furthermore, add another filter to _filter_img_create in common.filter
which filters out the refcount_bits value.

This is necessary for test 079, which does actually work with any
refcount width, but invoking qemu-img directly leads to the
refcount_bits value being visible in the output; use _make_test_img
instead which will filter it out.
