f0c9d64a68 pc: pcihp: avoid adding ACPI_PCIHP_PROP_BSEL twice
PCI hotplug for bridges was introduced only since 2.0 however
  acpi_set_bsel()->object_property_add_uint32_ptr(bus, ACPI_PCIHP_PROP_BSEL)
didn't take in account that for legacy mode (1.7) when
PCI hotplug for bridges is unavailable and ACPI_PCIHP_PROP_BSEL property
the only bus "PCI.0' has been created earlier at acpi_pcihp_init() time.

We managed to live with it only because of error rised by adding
a duplicate property in acpi_set_bsel() has been ignored which
resulted in useless leaking of just allocated (int)bus_bsel.

Issue affects only 1.7 machine type as ACPI tables supported by
QEMU were introduced at that time, but there wasn't PCI hotplug
for bridges till the next release (2.0).

Fix it by removing duplicate ACPI_PCIHP_PROP_BSEL intialization
in acpi_pcihp_init() and doing it only in one place acpi_set_pci_info().

PS:
do not ignore error returned by object_property_add_uint32_ptr()
and abort QEMU since it's programming error which should be fixed
instead of being ignored.

80db0e7822 memhp: don't generate memory hotplug AML if it's not enabled/supported
That reduces DSDT by 910 bytes when memory hotplug
isn't enabled.

While doing so drop intermediate variables/arguments
passing around ACPI_MEMORY_HOTPLUG_IO_LEN and making
it local to memory_hotplug.c, hardcoding it there as
it can't change.

Also don't pass around ACPI_MEMORY_HOTPLUG_BASE through
intermediate variables/arguments where it's not needed.
Instead initialize in module static variable when MMIO
region is mapped and use that within memory_hotplug.c
whenever it's required.
That way MMIO base specified only at one place and AML
with MMIO would always use the same value.

bd2baaccd5 acpi: add ATSR for q35
This patch provides ATSR which was a requirement for software that
wants to enable ATS on endpoint devices behind a Root Port. This is
done simply by setting ALL_PORTS which indicates all PCI-Express Root
Ports support ATS transactions.

fcf5ef2ab5 Move target-* CPU file into a target/ folder
We've currently got 18 architectures in QEMU, and thus 18 target-xxx
folders in the root folder of the QEMU source tree. More architectures
(e.g. RISC-V, AVR) are likely to be included soon, too, so the main
folder of the QEMU sources slowly gets quite overcrowded with the
target-xxx folders.
To disburden the main folder a little bit, let's move the target-xxx
folders into a dedicated target/ folder, so that target-xxx/ simply
becomes target/xxx/ instead.

aa6c6ae843 loader: fix handling of custom address spaces when adding ROM blobs
* Commit 3e76099aac ("loader: Allow a custom AddressSpace when loading
  ROMs") introduced the "Rom.as" field:

  (1) It modified the utility callers of rom_insert() to take "as" as a
      new parameter from *their* callers, and set "rom->as" from that
      parameter. The functions covered were rom_add_file() and
      rom_add_elf_program().

  (2) It also modified rom_insert() itself, to auto-assign
      "&address_space_memory", in case the external caller passed -- and
      the utility caller forwarded -- as=NULL.

  Except, commit 3e76099aac forgot to update the third utility caller of
  rom_insert(), under point (1), namely rom_add_blob().

* Later, commit 5e774eb3bd ("loader: Add AddressSpace loading support
  to uImages") added the load_uimage_as() function, and the
  rom_add_blob_fixed_as() function-like macro, with the necessary changes
  elsewhere to propagate the new "as" parameter to rom_add_blob():

    load_uimage_as()
      load_uboot_image()
        rom_add_blob_fixed_as()
          rom_add_blob()

  At this point, the signature (and workings) of rom_add_blob() had been
  broken already, and the rom_add_blob_fixed_as() macro passed its "_as"
  parameter to rom_add_blob() as "callback_opaque". Given that the
  "fw_callback" parameter itself was set to NULL (correctly), this did no
  additional damage (the opaque arg would never be used), but ultimately
  it broke the new functionality of load_uimage_as().

* The load_uimage_as() function would be put to use in one of the later
  patches, commit e481a1f63c ("generic-loader: Add a generic loader").

* We can fix this only in a unified patch now. Append "AddressSpace *as"
  to the signature of rom_add_blob(), and handle the new parameter. Pass
  NULL from all current callers, except from rom_add_blob_fixed_as(),
  where "_as" has to be bumped to the proper position.

* Note that rom_add_file() rejects the case when both "mr" and "as" are
  passed in as non-NULL. The action that this is apparently supposed to
  prevent is the

    rom->mr = mr;

  assignment (that's the only place where the "mr" parameter is used in
  rom_add_file()). In rom_add_blob() though, we have no "mr" parameter,
  and the actions done on the fw_cfg branch:

4b5b47abbf acpi: Use apic_id_limit when calculating legacy ACPI table size
The code that calculates the legacy ACPI table size for migration
compatibility uses max_cpus when calculating legacy_aml_len (the size of
the DSDT and SSDT tables). However, the SSDT grows according to APIC ID
limit, not max_cpus.

The bug is not triggered very often because of the 4k alignment on the
table size. But it can be triggered if you are unlucky enough to cross a
4k boundary.

Change the legacy_aml_len calculation to use apic_id_limit, to calculate
the right size.

021746c131 PCMachineState: introduce acpi_build_enabled field
Introduce this field to control whether ACPI build is enabled by a
particular machine or accelerator.

It defaults to true if the machine itself supports ACPI build. Xen
accelerator will disable it because Xen is in charge of building ACPI
tables for the guest.

75b0713e18 nvdimm acpi: introduce fit buffer
The buffer is used to save the FIT info for all the presented nvdimm
devices which is updated after the nvdimm device is plugged or
unplugged. In the later patch, it will be used to construct NVDIMM
ACPI _FIT method which reflects the presented nvdimm devices after
nvdimm hotplug

As FIT buffer can not completely mapped into guest address space,
OSPM will exit to QEMU multiple times, however, there is the race
condition - FIT may be changed during these multiple exits, so that
some rules are introduced:
1) the user should hold the @lock to access the buffer and
2) mark @dirty whenever the buffer is updated.

@dirty is cleared for the first time OSPM gets fit buffer, if
dirty is detected in the later access, OSPM will restart the
access

As fit should be updated after nvdimm device is successfully realized
so that a new hotplug callback, post_hotplug, is introduced

bdfd065b1f nvdimm acpi: prebuild nvdimm devices for available slots
For each NVDIMM present or intended to be supported by platform,
platform firmware also exposes an ACPI Namespace Device under
the root device

So it builds nvdimm devices for all slots to support vNVDIMM hotplug

16de88a416 hw/apci: handle 64-bit MMIO regions correctly
In build_crs(), the calculation and merging of the ranges already happens
in 64-bit, but the entry boundaries are silently truncated to 32-bit in the
call to aml_dword_memory(). Fix it by handling the 64-bit MMIO ranges separately.
This fixes 64-bit BARs behind PXBs.

c99cb18eeb hw/acpi: fix a DSDT table issue when a pxb is present.
PXBs do not support hotplug so they don't have a PCNT function.
Since the PXB's PCI root-bus is a child bus of bus 0, the
build_dsdt code will add a call to the corresponding PCNT function.

Fix this by skipping the PCNT call for the above case.
While at it skip also PCIe child buses.

in the system reported via ACPI MADT must be explicitly enumerated under
one specific remapping hardware unit. This patch adds the root-complex

01c9742d9d pc: Eliminate PcPciInfo
PcPciInfo has two (ill-named) members: Range w32 is the PCI hole, and
w64 is the PCI64 hole.

Three users:

* I440FXState and MCHPCIState have a member PcPciInfo pci_info, but
  only pci_info.w32 is actually used.  This is confusing.  Replace by
  Range pci_hole.

* acpi_build() uses auto PcPciInfo pci_info to forward both PCI holes
  from acpi_get_pci_info() to build_dsdt().  Replace by two variables
  Range pci_hole, pci_hole64.  Rename acpi_get_pci_info() to
  acpi_get_pci_holes().

PcPciInfo is now unused; drop it.

1f3aba377d pc: acpi: drop intermediate PCMachineState.node_cpu
PCMachineState.node_cpu was used for mapping APIC ID
to numa node id as CPU entries in SRAT used to be
built on sparse APIC ID bitmap (up to apic_id_limit).
However since commit
  5803fce pc: acpi: SRAT: create only valid processor lapic entries
CPU entries in SRAT aren't build using apic bitmap
but using 0..maxcpus index instead which is also used
for creating numa_info[x].node_cpu map.
So instead of doing useless intermediate conversion from
  1. node by cpu index -> node by apic id
       i.e. numa_info[x].node_cpu -> PCMachineState.node_cpu
  2. apic id -> srat entry PMX
       PCMachineState.node_cpu[apic id] -> PMX value
use numa_info[x].node_cpu map directly like ARM does and do
  1. numa_info[x].node_cpu -> PMX value using index
     in range 0..maxcpus
and drop not necessary PCMachineState.node_cpu and related
code.

That also removes the last (not counting legacy hotplug)
dependency of ACPI code on apic_id_limit and need to allocate
huge sparse PCMachineState.node_cpu array in case of 32-bit
APIC IDs.

679dd1a957 pc: use new CPU hotplug interface since 2.7 machine type
For compatibility reasons PC/Q35 will start with legacy
CPU hotplug interface by default but with new CPU hotplug
AML code since 2.7 machine type. That way legacy firmware
that doesn't use QEMU generated ACPI tables will be
able to continue using legacy CPU hotplug interface.

While new machine type, with firmware supporting QEMU
provided ACPI tables, will generate new CPU hotplug AML,
which will switch to new CPU hotplug interface when
guest OS executes its _INI method on ACPI tables
loading.

Use the ACPI table construction tools to create an ACPI entry
for IPMI.  This adds a function called build_acpi_ipmi_devices
to add an DSDT entry for IPMI if IPMI is compiled in and an
IPMI device exists.  It also adds a dummy function if IPMI
is not compiled in.

This conforms to section "C3-2 Locating IPMI System Interfaces in
ACPI Name Space" in the IPMI 2.0 specification.

It should help to make clear that bios_linker works in terms
of offsets within a file. Also it should prevent mistakes
where user passes as arguments pointers to unrelated to file blobs.

While at it, considering that it's a ACPI checksum and
it's initial value must be 0, move checksum field zeroing
into bios_linker_loader_add_checksum() instead of doing it
at every call site manually before bios_linker_loader_add_checksum()
is called.

In addition add extra boundary checks.

9774ccf7cd tpm: apci: cleanup TCPA table initialization
At the time build_tpm_tcpa() is called the tcpalog size is
always 0, so log_area_start_address which is actually offset
from the start of ACPI_BUILD_TPMLOG_FILE is always 0.

Also as 'TCPA' is allocated 0 filled, there is no point
in calculating always 0 log_area_start_address and set
tcpa->log_area_start_address to it since the field should
always point to start of ACPI_BUILD_TPMLOG_FILE.
Make code easier to read dropping not needed offset
calculations.
While at that move tcpalog allocation closer to the code
that defines its size.

ad9671b870 acpi: simplify bios_linker API by removing redundant 'table' argument
'table' argument in bios_linker_add_foo() commands is
a data blob of one of files also passed to the same API.
So instead of passing blob in every API call, add and keep
file name association with related blob at bios_linker_loader_alloc()
time.

And find blob by name looking up allocated file entries
inside of bios_linker_add_foo() commands.

It will:
 - make API less confusing,
 - enforce calling bios_linker_loader_alloc() before
   calling any bios_linker_add_foo()
 - make sure that blob is the correct one, i.e.
   associated with the right file name

76bdd24ec0 pc: acpi: cpuhp-legacy: switch ProcessorID to possible_cpus idx
In legacy cpu-hotplug ProcessorID == APIC ID is used
in MADT and cpu-hotplug AML. It was fine as both
are 8bit and unique. Spec depricated Processor()
with corresponding ProcessorID and advises to use
Device() and UID instead of it.

However UID is just 32bit and it can't fit ARM's
arch_id(MPIDR) which is 64bit. Also in case of
sparse arch_id() distribution, managment/lookup
of maps by arch_id(APIC ID/MPIDR) becomes complex
and expensive.

In preparation to common CPU hotplug with ARM
and to simplify lookup in possible_cpus[] map
switch ProcessorID to possible_cpus index in
MADT.

Legacy cpu-hotplug considerations:
HW interface of it is APIC ID based bitmask so
it's impossible to change, also CPON package in
AML also APIC ID based as well all the methods.

To avoid massive rewrite of AML keep is so and
just break assumption that ProcessorID == APIC ID,
ammending CPU_MAT_METHOD to accept APIC ID and
possible_cpus index, it needs them both to patch
MADT entry template. Also switch to possible_cpus
index Processor(ProcessorID) AML.
That way changes to MADT/AML are minimal and kept
inside AML/MADT not affecting external interfaces.

52e38eb051 tpm: acpi: remove IRQ from TPM's CRS to make Windows not see conflict
IRQ 5 used by TPM conflicts with PNP0C0F IRQs,
as result Windows fails driver initialization with reason
  'device cannot find enough free resources'
But if TPM._CRS.IRQ entry is commented out, Windows
seems to initialize driver without errors as it doesn't
notice possible conflict and it seems to work
probably due to a link with IRQ 5 being unused/disabled.

So temporary comment out TPM._CRS.IRQ to 'fix'
regression in TPM, with intent to fix it correctly
later i.e.:
  1. pick unused IRQ as default one for TPM
  2. fetch IRQ value from device model so that user
     could override default one if it conflicts with
     some other device.

2b1c2e8e5f pc: acpi: tpm: add missing MMIO resource to PCI0._CRS
Windows will fail initialize TMP driver with the reason:
  'device cannot find enough free resources'
That happens because parent BUS doesn't describe
MMIO resources used by TPM child device.
Fix it by describing it in top-most parent bus scope PCI0.

It was 'regressed' by commit
  5cb18b3d TPM2 ACPI table support
with following fixup
  9e472263 acpi: add missing ssdt
which did the right thing by moving TPM to BUS
it belongs to but lacked a proper resource declaration.

da34e65cb4 include/qemu/osdep.h: Don't include qapi/error.h
Commit 57cb38b included qapi/error.h into qemu/osdep.h to get the
Error typedef.  Since then, we've moved to include qemu/osdep.h
everywhere.  Its file comment explains: "To avoid getting into
possible circular include dependencies, this file should not include
any other QEMU headers, with the exceptions of config-host.h,
compiler.h, os-posix.h and os-win32.h, all of which are doing a
similar job to this file and are under similar constraints."
qapi/error.h doesn't do a similar job, and it doesn't adhere to
similar constraints: it includes qapi-types.h.  That's in excess of
100KiB of crap most .c files don't actually need.

Add the typedef to qemu/typedefs.h, and include that instead of
qapi/error.h.  Include qapi/error.h in .c files that need it and don't
get it now.  Include qapi-types.h in qom/object.h for uint16List.

Update scripts/clean-includes accordingly.  Update it further to match
reality: replace config.h by config-target.h, add sysemu/os-posix.h,
sysemu/os-win32.h.  Update the list of includes in the qemu/osdep.h
comment quoted above similarly.

This reduces the number of objects depending on qapi/error.h from "all
of them" to less than a third.  Unfortunately, the number depending on
qapi-types.h shrinks only a little.  More work is needed for that one.

cpu->found_cpus bitmap is used for setting present
flag in CPON AML package. But it takes a bunch of code
to fill bitmap and could be simplified by getting
presense info from possible CPUs list directly.

So drop cpu->found_cpus bitmap and unroll possible
CPUs list into APIC index array at the place where
CPUON AML package is created.

5803fce389 pc: acpi: SRAT: create only valid processor lapic entries
When APIC IDs are sparse*, in addition to valid LAPIC
entries the SRAT is also filled invalid ones for non
possible APIC IDs.
Fix it by asking machine for all possible APIC IDs
instead of wrongly assuming that all APIC IDs in
range 0..apic_id_limit are possible.

32 bits IO port starting from 0x0a18 in guest is reserved for NVDIMM
ACPI emulation. The table, NVDIMM_DSM_MEM_FILE, will be patched into
NVDIMM ACPI binary code

OSPM uses this port to tell QEMU the final address of the DSM memory
and notify QEMU to emulate the DSM method

27b9fc54d2 i386: populate floppy drive information in DSDT
On x86-based systems Linux determines the presence and the type of
floppy drives via a query of a CMOS field.  So does SeaBIOS when
populating the return data for int 0x13 function 0x08.

However Windows doesn't do it. Instead, it requests this information
from BIOS via int 0x13/0x08 or through ACPI objects _FDE (Floppy Drive
Enumerate) and _FDI (Floppy Drive Information) of the floppy controller
object.  On UEFI systems only ACPI-based detection is supported.

QEMU doesn't provide those objects in its ACPI tables and as a result
floppy drives are invisible to Windows on UEFI/OVMF.

This patch adds those objects to the floppy controller in DSDT,
populating them with the information from respective QEMU objects.

9b613f4e40 i386/acpi: make floppy controller object dynamic
Instead of statically declaring the floppy controller in DSDT, with its
_STA method depending on some obscure bit in the parent ISA bridge, add
the object dynamically to DSDT via AML API only when the controller is
present.

The _STA method is no longer necessary and is therefore dropped.  So are
the declarations of the fields indicating whether the contoller is
enabled.

Add a fw_cfg device node to the ACPI DSDT. While the guest-side
firmware can't utilize this information (since it has to access
the hard-coded fw_cfg device to extract ACPI tables to begin with),
having fw_cfg listed in ACPI will help the guest kernel keep a more
accurate inventory of in-use IO port regions.

b54ca0c3df bios-linker-loader: document+validate input
While guest/host ABI is documented in hw/acpi/bios-linker-loader.c,
the API was left undocumented.

This adds documentation for all API functions.

Additionally, input is validated to make sure all
pointers fall within range of provided files.

To allow this validation for checksum commands,
bios_linker_loader_add_checksum is changed to accept GArray * in place
of void *.

ae12374951 pc: set the OEM fields in the RSDT and the FADT from the SLIC
The Microsoft spec about the SLIC and MSDM ACPI tables at
<http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkId=234834> requires the OEM ID and
OEM Table ID fields to be consistent between the SLIC and the RSDT/XSDT.
That further affects the FADT, because a similar match between the FADT
and the RSDT/XSDT is required by the ACPI spec in general.

This patch wires up the previous three patches.

41fa5c0410 pc: acpi: merge SSDT into DSDT
Since both tables are built dynamically now,
there is no point in keeping ASL in them in separate
tables.
So do the same as we do for ARM where we have only
DSDT table, i.e. move SSDT ASL into DSDT and
drop SSDT altogether.
This patch doesn't change moved SSDT ASL in any way,
but it opens a way to relatively independently simplify
generated ASL on per device/subsystem basis in
followup series.
It also simplifies bios-tables-test where expected
SSDT blobs could be dropped and only DSDT ones
have to be maintained.

e4db279804 pc: acpi: move PIIX4 isa-bridge and pm devices into SSDT
and also move PRQx fields declaration as it can't be
split out into separate patch since fields use
PCI0.ISA.P40C operation region and OperationRegion
must be declared in the same table as a Field that
uses it. If this condition is not statisfied Windows
will BSOD ans IASL (make check) will error out as well.

For the same reason pm is moved together with isa-bridge
as the later refernces P13C OperationRegion from pm device.

f84548dda4 pc: acpi: memhp: drop not needed stringify(MEMORY_foo) usage
most of MEMORY_foo defines are not shared
with ASL anymore and are used only inside of
memory_hotplug_acpi_table.c, so move them
there and make them strings. As result we
can replace stringify(MEMORY_foo) with just
MEMORY_foo, which makes code a bit cleaner.

No AML change introduced by this patch.

f070efa8d9 hw/i386: fill in the CENTURY field of the FADT (FACP) ACPI table
The ACPI specification (minimally versions 1.0b through 6.0) define the
FADT.CENTURY field as:

  The RTC CMOS RAM index to the century of data value (hundred and
  thousand year decimals). If this field contains a zero, then the RTC
  centenary feature is not supported. If this field has a non-zero value,
  then this field contains an index into RTC RAM space that OSPM can use
  to program the centenary field.

The x86 targets generate ACPI payload, emulate an RTC
(CONFIG_MC146818RTC), and that RTC supports the "centenary feature" (see
occurrences of RTC_CENTURY in cmos_ioport_write() and cmos_ioport_read()
in "hw/timer/mc146818rtc.c".)

However, FADT.CENTURY is left at zero currently:

  [06Ch 0108   1]            RTC Century Index : 00

which -- according to analysis done by Ruiyu Ni at Intel -- should cause
Linux and Windows 8+ to think the RTC centenary feature is unavailable,
and cause Windows 7 to (incorrectly) assume that the offset to use is
constant 0x32. (0x32 happens to be the right value on QEMU, but Windows 7
is wrong to assume anything at all).

Exposing the right nonzero offset in FADT.CENTURY informs Linux and
Windows 8+ about the right capabilities of the hardware, plus it retrofits
our FADT to Windows 7's behavior.

Regression tested with the following guests (all UEFI installs):
- i386 Q35: Fedora 21 ("Fedlet" edition)
- x86_64:
  - i440fx:
    - Fedora 21
    - RHEL 6 and 7
    - Windows 7 and 10
    - Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2012 R2
  - Q35:
    - Fedora 22
    - Windows 8.1

NFIT is defined in ACPI 6.0: 5.2.25 NVDIMM Firmware Interface Table (NFIT)

Currently, we only support PMEM mode. Each device has 3 structures:
- SPA structure, defines the PMEM region info

- MEM DEV structure, it has the @handle which is used to associate specified
  ACPI NVDIMM  device we will introduce in later patch.
  Also we can happily ignored the memory device's interleave, the real
  nvdimm hardware access is hidden behind host

- DCR structure, it defines vendor ID used to associate specified vendor
  nvdimm driver. Since we only implement PMEM mode this time, Command
  window and Data window are not needed

The NVDIMM functionality is controlled by the parameter, 'nvdimm', which
is introduced for the machine, there is a example to enable it:
-machine pc,nvdimm -m 8G,maxmem=100G,slots=100  -object \
memory-backend-file,id=mem1,share,mem-path=/tmp/nvdimm1,size=10G -device \
nvdimm,memdev=mem1,id=nv1

It is disabled on default

3f8752b4e5 fw_cfg: remove offset argument from callback prototype
Read callbacks are now only invoked at item selection, before any
data is read. As such, the value of the offset argument passed to
the callback will always be 0. Also, the two callback instances
currently in use both leave their offset argument unused.

This patch removes the offset argument from the fw_cfg read callback
prototype, and from the currently available instances. The unused
(write) callback prototype is also removed (write support was removed
earlier, in commit 023e3148).

When this condition evaluates to true, said patch *omits* the
corresponding entry from the _CRS.

Later on the patch checks for the opposite condition (with the intent of
*adding* entries to the _CRS if the "PXB mem/IO chunks" *have* been
configured). Unfortunately, the condition was negated incorrectly: only
the first ! operator was removed, which led to the nonsensical expression

  (range_base || range_base > range_limit)

leading to bogus entries in the _CRS, and causing BSOD in Windows Server
2012 R2 when it runs on OVMF.

The correct negative of the condition seen at the top is

  (range_base && range_base <= range_limit)

Fix the expressions.

c96d9286a6 i386/acpi-build: more traditional _UID and _HID for PXB root buses
The ACPI specification permits the _HID and _UID objects to evaluate to
strings. (See "6.1.5 _HID (Hardware ID)" and "6.1.12 _UID (Unique ID)" in
the ACPI v6.0 spec.)

With regard to related standards, the UEFI specification can also express
a device address composed from string _HID and _UID identifiers, inside
the Expanded ACPI Device Path Node. (See "9.3.3 ACPI Device Path", Table
49, in the UEFI v2.5 spec.)

However, numeric (integer) contents for both _HID and _UID are more
traditional. They are recommended by the UEFI spec for size reasons:

  [...] the ACPI Device Path node is smaller and should be used if
  possible to reduce the size of device paths that may potentially be
  stored in nonvolatile storage [...]

External tools support them better (for example the --acpi_hid and
--acpi_uid options of "efibootmgr" only take numeric identifiers).
Finally, numeric _HID and _UID contents are existing practice in the QEMU
source.

This patch was tested with a Fedora 20 LiveCD and a preexistent Windows
Server 2012 R2 guest. Using "acpidump" and "iasl" in the Fedora guest, we
get, in the SSDT:

0f6dd8e1d5 apci: fix PXB behaviour if used with unsupported BIOS
PXB does not work with unsupported bioses, but should
not interfere with normal OS operation.
We don't ship them anymore, but it's reasonable
to keep the work-around until we update the bios in qemu.

Fix this by not adding PXB mem/IO chunks to _CRS
if they weren't configured by BIOS.

2332333c97 pc: acpi: fix pvpanic for buggy guests
In the old times, we always had pvpanic in ACPI and a _STA method told
the guest not to use it.  Automatic generation dropped the _STA method
as the specification says that missing _STA means enabled and working.
Some guests (Linux) had buggy drivers and this change made them unable
to utilize pvpanic.

A Linux patch is posted as well, but I think it's worth to make pvpanic
useable on old guests at the price of three lines and few bytes of SSDT.

The old _STA method was

      If (LEqual (Local0, Zero)) {
          Return (Zero) }
      Else {
          Return (0x0F) }}

Igor pointed out that we don't need to use a method to return a constant
and that 0xB (don't show in UI) is the common definition now.

8ac6f7a6d6 pc: acpi-build: drop template patching and create Device(SMC) dynamically
patch moves SMC device into SSDT and creates it only
when device is present, which makes ACPI tables smaller
in default case when device is not present.

Also it fixes wrong IO range in CRS if "iobase"
property is set to a non default value.

PS:
Testing with XP shows that current default "iobase"
used SMC device conflicts with floppy controller IO,
but it's topic for another patch and I'd leave it
to SMC device author for resolving conflict.

It drops empty ssdt_misc templete. It also hides
from user almost all pointer arithmetic when building
SSDT which makes resulting code a bit cleaner
and concentrating only on composing ASL construct
/i.e. a task build_ssdt() should be doing/.

Also it makes one binary blob less stored in QEMU
source tree by removing need to keep and update
hw/i386/ssdt-misc.hex.generated file here in total
saving us ~430LOC.

d31c909e57 pc: acpi: drop manual hole punching for GPE0 resources
Drops manual hole punching in PCI0._CRS on PIIX4 machine type
for GPE0 resources. Resources will be consumed by Device(GPE0)
that is attached to PCI namespace.
There is GPE device with HID ACPI0006 since ACPI2.0
that should be used for this purpose but none of Windows
versions support it and show it as "unknown device",
so reserve resource in old fashioned way with PNP0A06
device to make windows happy and actually reserve resources.

Along with last hole _CRS layout of PIIX4 machine becomes
the same as Q35 one, so merge them together and use the same
_CRS for both machine types.

Windows XP can't handle /BSODs/ OperationRegion
declaration in DSDT when variable from SSDT is used
for specifying its address/length and also when
Field declared in DSDT with OperationRegion from
SSDT if DSDT is being parsed before SSDT.
But it works just fine when referencing named
fields from another table. Hence OperationRegion
and Field declaration are moved to SSDT to make
XP based editions work.

PS:
Later Windows editions seem to be fine with above
conditions.

afaa2e4bc4 acpi-build: simplify rsdp management for legacy
For legacy machine types, rsdp is not in RAM, so we need a copy of rsdp
for fw cfg. We previously used g_array_free with false parameter,
but this seems to confuse people.
This also wastes a bit of memory as the buffer is unused for new
machine types.

Let's just use plain g_memdup, and free original memory together with
the array.

TODO: rationalize tcpalog memory management, and get rid of the mfre
parameter.

This fixes multiple issues around ACPI RAM management:

RSDP and linker RAM aren't currently marked dirty
on update, so they won't be migrated correctly.

Let's handle all tables in the same way: set correct size (assert if
too big), update, mark RAM dirty.

This also drops assert checking that table size didn't change: table
size is fundamentally dynamic and depends on hw configuration,
just set the correct size and use that (memory core asserts if size is
too large).

This also means we can drop tracking table size, memory core does this
for us now.

Linker table is build only once, so if later during
tables rebuild sizes of other ACPI tables change
pointers will be patched incorrectly due to wrong
offsets in linker. Resulting in guest not being able
to find ACPI tables.
Fix it by updating 'linker' table with the rest of
tables when firmware reads it.

d70414a578 acpi: update RSDP on guest access
RSDT offset can change across reboots and that makes
immutable RSDP, which is build at startup, point to
incorrect place in ACPI table blob. That results in
BIOS corrupting tables and guest OS failing to find
ACPI tables.
We really should have put it in a ROM region, but
we can't change that for old machine types,
let's just set the callback and update it explicitly.

Use resizeable ram API so we can painlessly extend ROMs in the
future.  Note: migration is not affected, as we are
not actually changing the used length for RAM, which
is the part that's migrated.

dd0247e09a pc: acpi: mark all possible CPUs as enabled in SRAT
If QEMU is started with  -numa ... Windows only notices that
CPU has been hot-added but it will not online such CPUs.

It's caused by the fact that possible CPUs are flagged as
not enabled in SRAT and Windows honoring that information
doesn't use corresponding CPU.

ACPI 5.0 Spec regarding to flag says:
"
Table 5-47 Local APIC Flags
...
Enabled: if zero, this processor is unusable, and the operating system
support will not attempt to use it.
"

Fix QEMU to adhere to spec and mark possible CPUs as enabled
in SRAT.

With that Windows onlines hot-added CPUs as expected.
