Newer iasl does not add the aml file name to the Definition Block.
See acpica tools commit 1ecbb3d5:
"Emit the AMLFilename as a zero-length string. Allows the compiler to create
the name later -- making it easier to rename the parent ASL (DSL) file."
That causes an assert in acpi tests:
tests/bios-tables-test.c:455:normalize_asl: assertion failed: (block_name)
Fix it by striping the start of the definition block line until the first comma.
The block name is always the first parameter and
the grammar does not allow comma in between, so it is safe.

smbios_get_tables() will return the entry point table in right format.

code (smbios.c and smbios.h) from x86 specific folders into new

It has been reported that sometimes the .rodata section of SeaBIOS,
containing the constant string against which the SMBIOS signature
ends up being compared, also falls within the guest f-segment. In
that case, the test obviously fails, unless we continue searching
for the *real* SMBIOS entry point.
Rather than stopping at the first match for the SMBIOS signature
("_SM_") in the f-segment (0xF0000-0xFFFFF), continue scanning
until either a valid entry point table is found, or the f-segment
has been exhausted.

If the Q35 board types are to begin recognizing
and decoding syntactic sugar for drive/device
declarations, then workarounds found within
the qtests suite need to be adjusted to prevent
any test failures after the fix.
bios-tables-test improperly uses this cli:
-drive file=etc,id=hd -device ide-hd,drive=hd
Which will create a drive and device due to
the lack of specifying if=none. Then, it will
attempt to create a second device and fail.
This patch corrects this test to always use
the full, non-sugared -device/-drive syntax
for both PC and Q35.

The test harness for acpi (generating a boot disk, starting qemu,
waiting for the BIOS to finish booting before examining guest

beside acpi, such as e.g., smbios.

and in preparation for adding smbios tests.
