213137217a Bootstrap Python venv for tests
A number of QEMU tests are written in Python, and may benefit
from an untainted Python venv.

By using make rules, tests that depend on specific Python libs
can set that rule as a requirement, along with rules that require
the presence or installation of specific libraries.

The tests/requirements.txt is supposed to contain the Python
requirements that should be added to the venv created by check-venv.

64dd2f3b5b crypto: require nettle >= 2.7.1 for building QEMU
nettle 2.7.1 was released in 2013 and all the distros that are build
target platforms for QEMU [1] include it:

  RHEL-7: 2.7.1
  Debian (Stretch): 3.3
  Debian (Jessie): 2.7.1
  OpenBSD (ports): 3.4
  FreeBSD (ports): 3.4
  OpenSUSE Leap 15: 3.4
  Ubuntu (Xenial): 3.2
  macOS (Homebrew): 3.4

Based on this, it is reasonable to require nettle >= 2.7.1 in QEMU
which allows for some conditional version checks in the code to be
removed.

26830e9325 tests: remove gcov-files- variables
Commit 31d2dda ("build-system: remove per-test GCOV reporting", 2018-06-20)

overall report produced by gcovr. However, the variables were never removed.

7a6c377f6b tests: Prevent more accidental test disabling
GNU make is perfectly happy to use 'check-FOO-y += bar' to
initialize check-FOO-y. (GNU Automake strictly insists that
you cannot use += until after an initial = per variable, but
thankfully we aren't using automake).

As we have had more than one instance where copy-and-paste of
'check-FOO-y = bar' from a first test under category FOO into
an additional test, which ends up disabling the first (see
commits 992159c7 and 4429532b), it's better to just always use
the form that survives copy-and-paste, even for categories that
don't currently add more than one test.

Done with s/^\(check-[a-z]*-y \)=/\1+=/g

c02b37814c tests: Add migration test for aarch64
This patch adds migration test support for aarch64. The test code, which
implements the same functionality as x86, is booted as a kernel in qemu.
Here are the design choices we make for aarch64:

 * We choose this -kernel approach because aarch64 QEMU doesn't provide a
built-in fw like x86 does. So instead of relying on a boot loader, we
   use -kernel approach for aarch64.
 * The serial output is sent to PL011 directly.
 * The physical memory base for mach-virt machine is 0x40000000. We change
   the start_address and end_address for aarch64.

In addition to providing the binary, this patch also includes the source
code and the build script in tests/migration/aarch64. So users can change
the source and/or re-compile the binary as they wish.

3ac1f81329 tests/fp/fp-test: add floating point tests
By leveraging berkeley's softfloat and testfloat.

With this we get decent coverage of softfloat.c:

$ ./fp-test -r even:	67.22% coverage
$ ./fp-test -r all:	73.11% coverage

Note that we do not yet test parts of softfloat.c that aren't
in the original softfloat library, namely:

- denormal inputs
- *_to_int16/uint16 conversions
- scalbn for fixed point
- muladd variants
- min/max
- exp2
- log2

06d09a018f tests: virtio: separate ccw tests from libqos
Because qtest does not support s390 channel I/O, s390 only performs smoke tests on
those few devices that do not have any functional tests. Therefore, every time we
add functional tests for a virtio device, the choice is between removing
those tests from the s390 suite (so that s390 actually _loses_ coverage)
or sprinkling the test with architecture checks.

This patch simply creates a ccw-specific test that only performs smoke tests on
all virtio-ccw devices. If channel I/O support is ever added to qtest and libqos,
then this file can go away. In the meanwhile, it simplifies maintenance and
makes sure that all virtio devices are tested.

645d3cbebb Add QTest testcase for the Intel Hexadecimal
'test.hex' file is a memory test pattern stored in Hexadecimal Object
Format. It loads at 0x10000 in RAM and contains values from 0 through
255.

The test case verifies that the expected memory test pattern was loaded.

31d2dda3c4 build-system: remove per-test GCOV reporting
I'm not entirely sure who's using this information and certainly in a
CI environment it just washes over as additional noise. Later patches
will provide new reporting options so a user who wants to analyse
individual tests will be able to use that to get the information.

2b1f35b9a8 Revert "Makefile: Rename TARGET_DIRS to TARGET_LIST"
This reverts commit 208ecb3e1a. This was
causing problems by making DEF_TARGET_LIST pointless and having to
jump through hoops to build on mingw with a dully enabled config.
This includes a change to fix the per-guest TCG test probe which was
added after 208ecb3 and used TARGET_LIST.

967c885108 qapi: add 'if' to top-level expressions
Accept 'if' key in top-level elements, accepted as string or list of
string type. The following patches will modify the test visitor to
check the value is correctly saved, and generate #if/#endif code (as a
single #if/endif line or a series for a list).

Example of 'if' key:
{ 'struct': 'TestIfStruct', 'data': { 'foo': 'int' },
  'if': 'defined(TEST_IF_STRUCT)' }

The generated code is for now *unconditional*. Later patches generate
the conditionals.
