Chris Young 20e825c8f4 More simple refresh. This would work (provided the user hasn't scrolled), 
however we appear to be losing events (refresh and menu events are not
always being received)

  Look at the existing front ends for example implementations.  The framebuffer
  front end is simplest and most self-contained.  Also, you can contact the
