The verbose filter CLI option doesn't begin with log_ prefix.
The filter options need a double dash (--).

30ee1f630a Improve cross compile tool building and error reporting 
This improves error reporting when no compiler is available. Improves
handling of compiling of build machine tools (nsgenbind) in a cross
