26314fb8b7 Implemented basic DDC support for the Bochs VBE adapter.
TODO: Update both Bochs VBE and Cirrus version of the LGPL'd VGABIOS to return
the EDID using this feature.

- Fixed display updates for color depth > 8.

7bd6e6c7c2 Removed all of the pre-defined rasterizer functions and replaced it by a single
function. I guess the old stuff should be a speed optimization, but I don't see
a difference with the new code. The simulation output is also still the same.
Now Bochs compiles much faster with Voodoo support enabled and the binary is
much smaller. This patch has been written by Luigi B.

2b91dabfe5 Added new VGA extension choice "voodoo" to test the new VGA extension code. It
currently only implements an ISA standard VGA adapter with the selected Voodoo
model as it's extension. The methods of the "Voodoo VGA" device only call the
required methods of the Voodoo or VGA core.
TODO: Start implementing the Voodoo Banshee chipset based on this code.

cd68194269 Added Android host platform support to Bochs based on SF patch #534.
- added Android case to the configure script.
- renamed file memory.h to memory-bochs.h to fix conflict with NDK.
- fixed Android issues in some files.

ed41df332a Support for compiling plugin version of Bochs with MSVC nmake now complete.
- embedding combined manifest makes BOCHS.EXE usable
- list of DLL plugins now depends on the pci and debugger options
- 'make clean' now removes the generated manifest files
- renamed variable for external rules
- documentation update

eb484919fe Next step for plugin support with MSVC nmake: device plugins that need special
rules can be built now (keyboard, pit, gameport, serial, vga, svga_cirrus,
hdimage, netmod, soundmod, usb_common). The generated DLLs are usable with the
BOCHS.EXE built with the IDE, but the nmake won't work at all yet.

58019a1649 Renamed "ltdl.h" to "ltdl-bochs.h" to avoid conflicts with the include file
that is a part of the libtool package. Updated Makefile dependencies.
TODO: check if we can get rid of the ltdl*.* files (this would be possible if
the ltdl library is always available if libtool is present).

5f5d8e2c33 Applied initial version of the 3dfx Voodoo Graphics emulation. The Voodoo core
is based on a patch originally designed for DOSBox. Currently only the Voodoo1
adapter model can be emulation. The emulation is currently slow, but we intend
to clean up and optimize the code. Running the 3D engine in a separate thread
is also planned. To compile with Voodoo support the configure option
"--enable-voodoo" must be used. Then the device can be activated with
"plugin_ctrl: voodoo=1" in bochsrc or on the command line. The device will be
assigned automatically to a PCI slot unless you do that manually. A specific bochsrc
option to select the adapter model will be added when the code has support for it.
