<p><a href="attributes.html">Öznitelikler</a> ve <a href="queries.html">Sorgular</a> Haiku'nun temel özelliklerindendir. Öznitelikler bir dosya hakkında ek bilgi verirler ve bu bilgileri sorgulanabilir yaparlar; ancak önceden indekslenmeleri gerekir. İndeksleme tüm bu öznitelikleri bir tabloya alır ve sorgulamayı ışık hızında yapmaya olanak verir.<br />
