in all drawing methods in case the parent window was not in a "transaction" (fInTransaction). For ordinary updates, nothing has changed, but if you call drawing methods outside of an update, they will happen "immediately" rather than when the link is sporadically full and auto flushes. The effect is that the cursor in Terminal blinks reliably, the selection in BTextViews follows the mouse right on the spot (and so on).
