con_init() now takes care of the initialization of its currently built-in
console drivers itself.

this during runtime to add and remove specific syscalls. You can also use this
to add debugging or temporary kernel calls without messing up the syscall
table (the syscall numbers will stay constant).

limit, but this is not yet enforced. Added getter functions.
team_init() now returns a status_t.
System info stuff is now globally initialized in main().
get_system_info() now also reports the number of used pages, and calls the
architecture dependent function.

Added _user_shutdown() and made it available as syscall.
git-svn-id: file:///srv/svn/repos/haiku/trunk/current@10233 a95241bf-73f2-0310-859d-f6bbb57e9c96
we don't want to copy them over to the kernel heap, we just don't free
the kernel args if the debug symbols are enabled - and since there are
no driver settings yet in the kernel, this is always for now.

and that main2() cannot therefore just wait until interrupts become
enabled.
Now, the main2() thread is resumed after interrupts are turned on.
I am not yet sure if this is really necessary, but I have the feeling that it is.

they are called.
Introduced a cpu_init_post_vm() that will now call arch_init_post_vm() instead
of letting main() doing it.
Fixed some return types (mostly from int to status_t).
Some minor other cleanup.
git-svn-id: file:///srv/svn/repos/haiku/trunk/current@9439 a95241bf-73f2-0310-859d-f6bbb57e9c96
Switched to load_image() instad of using the old team_create_team() to start "init".

it's not known (it currently only support the current version, of course :-).

The stack of the main thread is now called "{team name}_main_stack" instead
of primary stack.
git-svn-id: file:///srv/svn/repos/haiku/trunk/current@7863 a95241bf-73f2-0310-859d-f6bbb57e9c96
team_create_team() now uses the B_NORMAL_PRIORITY constant instead of the number directly.

Disabled dbg_get_serial_debug(); it's only used temporarily in the keyboard
device (and I removed its usage there, too).
Added "continue", "exit", and "es" commands as in the Be kernel debugger
(they will all exit the debugger and try to continue normal kernel execution).
Reordered the sources so that public kernel API is together.
Added a _user_debug_output() syscall (not yet activated) which dumps to the
kernel's serial output.

code and made it much simpler (it now just uses a stack of path names
instead of this complex doubly-linked module_iterator_dir list).
Now works together with the rest of the code without making any problems.
Added a module_test() function which iterates over all existing modules.

Also kernel/module.h was hidden by os/drivers/module.h - fixed; kernel/module.h
is now called kmodule.h and only contains the module_init() function for the
kernel.
