1b38c3412c mips: Remove mips
* As per the ML discussions. Bumps MIPS to tier 3.
* We've reached a unanimous descision that MIPS doesn't
target any real / valid hardware Haiku wants to pursue
at the moment. In the event that anyone wants to pursue
MIPS, feel free to fork Haiku into your own repository
(and we'll even link to it on the website ports page)
* If someone develops a viable plan for MIPS (and gets the
port working, it can be readded at a later date)

64264fa6ac Use Objects instead of KernelObjects
Should we actually require differently built glue code for the kernel or
kernel add-ons, which should build a separate set.

b0944c78b0 More work towards hybrid support
* All packaging architecture dependent variables do now have a
respective suffix and are set up for each configured packaging
architecture, save for the kernel and boot loader variables, which
are still only set up for the primary architecture.
  For convenience TARGET_PACKAGING_ARCH, TARGET_ARCH, TARGET_LIBSUPC++,
and TARGET_LIBSTDC++ are set to the respective values for the primary
  packaging architecture by default.
* Introduce a set of MultiArch* rules to help with building targets for
multiple packaging architectures. Generally the respective targets are
(additionally) gristed with the packaging architecture. For libraries
the additional grist is usually omitted for the primary architecture
  (e.g. libroot.so and <x86>libroot.so for x86_gcc2/x86 hybrid), so that
Jamfiles for targets built only for the primary architecture don't
  need to be changed.
* Add multi-arch build support for all targets needed for the stage 1
cross devel package as well as for libbe (untested).

c154b94624 Added haiku_version_glue.o "glue code" containing the Haiku/ABI version
symbols recently introduced. Until init_term_dyn.o is linked into kernel
add-ons, too, we link with haiku_version_glue.o, so we have those symbols
in kernel add-ons as well.

6b202f4e3d * Introduced new header directory headers/private/system which is supposed
to contain headers shared by kernel and userland (mainly libroot).
* Moved quite a few private kernel headers to the new location. Split
several kernel headers into a shared part and one that is still kernel
private. Adjusted all affected Jamfiles and source in the standard x86
build accordingly. The build for other architectures and for test code
  may be broken.
* Quite a bit of userland code still includes private kernel headers.
Mostly those are <util/*> headers. The ones that aren't strictly
kernel-only should be moved to some other place (maybe
  headers/private/shared/util).

ee76fc8f16 The SimpleTest rule is now using the Haiku glue code - so it should better be 100% compatible; turns out _init_c_library_() gets the arguments and environment as parameters (in case you wondered why __libc_argv and __libc_argc wouldn't work anymore for these apps all of a sudden).

3cf73255de The Haiku startup code now exports a symbol called __gHaikuStartupCode. This can
be used to determine wether or not the executable was linked for/under Haiku or
not (ie. BeOS).

0cd3c003d1 While investigating how our deals with doubled shared libs, I found two
issues:
* Our glue code was broken after all - it allowed Haiku apps to start under
BeOS (and vice versa), but the initialization/termination functions were
called with an invalid image ID - on *both* sides! As it turns out, the
Be glue code did *something* with %ebx, but certainly didn't put the image
ID in there, but just passed it on the stack, as we did before (just in
the wrong order...). Therefore, the arch_call_init_term stuff is not
  necessary.
* When unloading add-ons, their termination functions were never called, as
the image (for get_image_symbol()) was already made inaccessible, and
therefore the symbol couldn't be found.

34a9556215 Made our glue code compatible to BeOS again. IOW executables compiled for Haiku will
now run under BeOS as well (as long as they don't use any functions that are not
available under R5).
The solution is a bit messy, but we have to live with it :-)
The runtime loader now patches the __gRuntimeLoader symbol in libroot.so to point
to its exported structure instead of passing it to the init functions as an
argument.
(Hax0red by axeld and bonefish on stippi's assimilated machine -- resistence is futile)
