The minimum configuration requires 4 MB of RAM and 60 MB of disk space.
To install the entire system requires about 260 MB (not including swap).
To install the X window system you need at least 295 MB (not including
swap) and 8 MB RAM.

with 4 MB of RAM \(em slow.
Note that until you have around 16 MB of RAM, getting more RAM is more
important than getting a faster CPU.
