NetBSD/bin/sh/mkinit.sh
apb 9577284633 Don't try to remove trailing newlines from shell variables via
constructs like ${var%$nl}.  Apparently this allows the Ubuntu Linux
/bin/sh (dash) to be used as a host shell during the build.
