* Always enable disconnection.
* Add some more per-controller variables: initiator ID, clock frequency,
min and max sync period.
* Correct sync period calculations.
* Remove sc_progress.
* Move most of the reselection handling into a separate function.
* Remove some outdated comments.
* Remove message bytes from FIFO even when dropping them on the floor.
* Some cosmetic cleanup.
