is 13c27090e8 Don't call the sc->sbic_dmago() function if the data length is zero.

This avoids a zero pointer dereference, which fixes PR 8571.
Make sbic_dmago() report selection timeouts to the upper layer.
This makes sbic really work again with 1.4L.
