clean and without writable mappings. if we try to flush dirty pages past EOF to the server when NMODIFIED is clear, we'll update the attrcache before doing the write, which will try to free the pages past EOF and deadlock. to deal with this, we write-protect pages before we send them to the server, and restrict ourselves to creating read-only mappings if NMODIFIED isn't set. score another one for enami.
