abs 7aabc9df8a Skip !IFF_BROADCAST interfaces (such as strip). After discussion
with Ted Lemon leave in checks for IFF_LOOPBACK and IFF_POINTTOPOINT
in case an OS incorrectly marks them with IFF_BROADCAST.
Patch submitted back to dhcp-server@isc.org

drochner 8aee2aa821 Get rid of an extremely annoying message logged with "error"
priority:
"<src address>: network <whatever>: no free leases"
on each "foreign" request if I'm just not serving for
unknown clients.
Replace it which a less misleading message at "info" priority.

perry 8a49ec08e4 "Utilize" has exactly the same meaning as "use," but it is more
difficult to read and understand. Most manuals of English style
therefore say that you should use "use".

bjh21 913037a61e When checking that a potentially-unsigned enum is >= 0, assign it to an int
first. This is necessary to avoid warnings with -fshort-enums. Casting
to an int really should be enough, but turns out not to be.

This change will be documented in doc/HACKS.

bjh21 ad4b72abb9 Check isc_result_t values with != ISC_R_SUCCESS, rather than < 0.
Suggested by Ted Lemon, but not yet in an ISC DHCP release.
This is necessary to avoid warning with -fshort-enums.

bjh21 6047cf765e Another change from 3.0.1rc7:
- Fix a bug in ns_parserr(), where it was returning the wrong sort
of result code in some cases.

bjh21 a4f14f6e11 Pull down change from 3.0.1rc7:
- Fix a bug in is_identifier(), where it was checking against EOF
  instead of the END_OF_FILE token.

This is required to eliminate a warning with -fshort-enums.

wiz 4c99916337 va_{start,end} audit:
Make sure that each va_start has one and only one matching va_end,
especially in error cases.
If the va_list is used multiple times, do multiple va_starts/va_ends.
If a function gets va_list as argument, don't let it use va_end (since
it's the callers responsibility).

Improved by comments from enami and christos -- thanks!

Heimdal/krb4/KAME changes already fed back, rest to follow.

Inspired by, but not not based on, OpenBSD.
