c1583b0d2c Since /etc/services has gotten rather large, use a minimal one for install 
kernels. (mount_nfs is notably the only binary that doesn't gracefully deal
with the lack of an /etc/services file, it appears.)

fee07bcfd4 Add an iso_image target (iso-image as a target name doesn't play well with 
bsd.subdirs.mk) in distrib/makefile, which builds an iso image for $MACHINE
with binary sets, stored in ${RELEASEDIR}/iso. The image is bootable for:
alpha, amd64, cats, i386, pmax, sgimips, sparc, sparc64, sun3, vax.
mac68k/macppc no there yet because of missing feature in makefs.

call iso_image in distrib/ for iso-image in the top Makefile.

d64a282ae6 Build the DHCP client, use more x_utilities, and in general sync with other 
ports.  There's still something weird about bpf that prevents a pure DHCP
install from succeeding, but it's closer than it was.

c516224170 The bootloader names appeared in many more places than I originally 
thought.  This commit should, finally, take care of all instances.

e2c139ba9f Remove "-Wa,-xgot" hack from DBG flag for broken objcopy-crunchide 
that has been fixed by simonb.

BTW, should we also add "-mmemcpy" here to reduce code size?

6ff7823dd7 Add appropriate-looking density-value to MAKEFS_FLAGS to force 
makefs to create enough inodes for the image.

04d70c3689 Fix PR port-sgimips/17567: sysinst wasn't installing/upgrading bootblocks on 
the new disk.  This requires my previous changes to sgivol to get a non-
interactive mode.  While here, change the way sysinst invoked sgivol (it
called system(), now it uses run_prog()) so we don't mess up the logging
and scripting contexts.

9b5e467d2e Don't set speed in the stty commands, so installs still work if the user 
has their console speed set to something other than 9600.

1cf21a4eeb as COPYDIR copies files with 444 permissions, we need to explicitly 
add MTREE entries to change the permissions of executable programs
such as usr/mdec/installboot and usr/mdec/binstall

3d46bd9251 For reference purposes (as it currently doesn't build): add miniroot build 
directory; the ramdisk build also relies on the termcap entry here, so this
isn't totally useless.  All based on work by Scott Taylor (sgimips at
mrynet.com), with bugs most likely added by me.
