Rescuscitate after bitrot:
...
* rewrite findroot() based on NetBSD 1.2F i386 findoot().
* Rewrite makebootdev() to use struct devnametodevmaj pica_nam2blk[].
Previous changes changed the `devname' char array and findroot()
bot not makebootdev().
* Add prototypes, delint for gcc -Wall.
