PR/11361:Matthias Buelow: Apply patch1 from pdksh site.
- set -x dumps core (shf.c);
- output of "jobs" command is filled with ^A characters (jobs.c);
- "typeset -r foo=bar" fails saying foo is readonly (var.c).
