As discussed on source-changes, fix the library specification:
...
o Add ${LIBSSL} to the DPADD list, it was missing
o Use -lcrypto and not ${LIBCRYPTO} in LDADD+=
o Reorder libraries so -lssl comes before -lcrypto
o Let the postfix libraries and the system libraries have their own
LDADD+= and DPADD+= lines (this one wasn't discussed)

nbsd_thread_resume(): make sure that we've been passed a thread ID in

ptid before invoking the suspend-all-but-this-thread logic. Otherwise,
when passed an LWP (as a result of 1.15 making LWPs the primary
identifier of live execution contexts), we try to suspend everything,
which goes poorly.
