Modify all calls to newfs in ramdisk/miniroot creation to include

the needed endianism of the architecture. One step towards cross-building
releases.
Not touched are newfs calls in install scripts as they run on the desired
machine and thus default correctly.

Well... it turns out that the ramdisk root runs out of inodes,
...
but it doesn't need the block devices nor most partitions, so
this can use a customized MAKEDEV to avoid making those.
(I'd rather not enlarge the ramdisk image right now.)

Don't use a temporary file to record the read/write status of the root file-

system. The temp file isn't erased during reboots and causes problems the
next time the install script is run.
