If necessary, pull in <bsd.sys.mk> to get the definition of HOST_SH; Makefiles that pull in one of (most of) <bsd.*.mk> will get this anyway.
it's easier to commit non-generated files all at once.
systems running a BSD-ish server. No dynamically linked executable support (it requires weird execve() hacks...), nor any Mach trap support. But it ran lots of statically linked binaries well enough for me to get bootstrapped.
