macallan 21bc7f3caa Introduce a new flag for rasops_info to keep rasops_reconfig() from trying 
to allocate memory. Use this when calling rasops_reconfig() before it is safe
to call kmem_alloc().

macallan 15a269471f autogenerate box drawing characters for fonts that don't have them, put them 
into an alternate font pointed at by the recently added mappings in wsfont,
adapt all putchar() methods except the rotated ones to use them
XXX no attempt has been made to make this work with rotation

dsl 82357f6d42 ANSIfy another 1261 function definitions. 
The only ones left in sys are beyond by sed script!
(or in sys/dist or sys/external)
Mostly they have function pointer parameters.

dsl 454af1c0e8 Change about 4500 of the K&R function definitions to ANSI ones. 
There are still about 1600 left, but they have ',' or /* ... */
in the actual variable definitions - which my awk script doesn't handle.
There are also many that need () -> (void).
(The script does handle misordered arguments.)

dsl 6f0f9f8763 Make almost everything #include <sys/bswap.h> instead of <machine/bswap.h> 
The bswap.h and endian.h files are all rather incestuous, but I want to
get the constant folding stuff into one place - sys/bswap.h

uwe aa4c79f23b For the rasops-drawn cursor the fg/bg indices are bit inverted, so 
provide complimentary colors in the upper 16 entries.

uwe c6aa061dfa In rasops_copycols change bcopy to memmove. In that particular place 
the src and dst are very likely to overlap, so using bcopy causes
garbage to be displayed

uwe 6e320d03b8 Undo previous that incorrectly byte-swaps stamps for little endian 
machines when RI_BSWAP is *not* set.  Redo my original fix to directly
build stamps in desired endianness instead of calling bswap32().

lukem ecb81c3f6d - convert usage of "defopt" to "defflag" where the relevant option does 
not support a value (e.g., it's to be used as "options FOO" instead of
  "options FOO=xxx"). options that take a value were converted to
  defparam recently.
- minor whitespace & formatting cleanups
