itohy 7597955012 ctype(3) functions do NOT take value of "char", but "unsigned char" plus EOF 
(this is the same range as the return value of getc(3)).
Reference: ISO/IEC 9899:1990  7.3 Character handling <ctype.h>

Fixed illegal usage of NULL.
