jdolecek 6e843721e9 don't access (u_int32_t *) as (u_int16_t *), this fails on BE machines - 
use temporary variable to fetch the 16bit value instead
remove some redundant temporaries, use NULL for those md_get_*() calls instead
make sv_sm 16bit - it is 16bit in later SMB dialects

drochner 4b3ca2b813 Remove an aprint_normal() so that the output looks reasonable 
at least in the non-error case.
(The aprint_* stuff makes it hard to keep track of newlines and
device name tags, and it suffers from lack of rules.)

iod_sleeptimo is set to same value always, so use the value directly
and #if 0 iod_sleeptimo

add one smb_iod_wakeup() in smb_iod_sendrq()
XXX unfortunately iod thread still must wakeup periodically to check
XXX for arriving replies - command latency might be improved if this could
XXX be avoided

jdolecek 1864eaa69a directories don't have any size in smbfs/CIFS, so don't compare 
size in smbfs_kqpoll() neither in filt_smbfsread()
this fixes kqueue on smbfs directory to not flag directory as 'changed'
all the time

bsh 3034a15d1f + fix a crash when write-back cache is used, by calling PTE_SYNC() 
after tweaking page table entry.

+ 4th argument of bus_space_map() is not only for BUS_SPACE_MAP_CACHEABLE.

imp aa6bfd42a7 It appears that we now need locators.h. Other files in this directory 
have it, and adding it makes this compile.  If this is not the right
way to fix this problem, please let me know the right way...

	   matter what, not only if there are no existing keygen
	   methods in the new parameters.

elric 8c6033d202 substantial rototill of the code. 
o  added new features:
		o  -G:  generate a new paramsfile that produces the same
			key as the old paramsfile,
		o  ffs verify_method,
		o  multiple keygen methods that are xor'ed together
		   (for n-factor authentication), and
		o  calibrating the iteration count of PKCS#5 PBKDF2 to
		   the current machine's speed.
	o  changed paramsfile format to allow for the new features.
	o  replaced open-coded parser with yacc grammar.
	o  lots of supporting changes.
	o  updated documentation to reflect new features and new
	   paramsfile format.

chris a97b660835 When doing a kernel dump use the pmap_k* funcs. Also make sure that all 
data is written to ram.  This avoids issues with tlb's not being flushed
etc.

As discussed a long time ago on port-arm

chris 98c497fb64 Tweak the dot.profile file to: 
Use 38400 as the line speed, this is the default footbridge console speed,
changing it confuses a remote serial line. Also updated in dot.hdprofile

Change the BLOCKSIZE to 1k, and the default EDITOR to ed.

Add standin shell funcs for dmesg and grep.

Only run sysinst if it's actually in the image.

chris 4a9431b465 Add more bits the cats install disk. 
Most noticeable change is the addition of dhclient, we now prompt if the
user wants DHCP autoconfiguration.
Also added chio, rcmd, ping6, rtsol, scsictl

We now use the cut down versions of:
dhclient, ifconfig, ping, ping6 and route

The ramdisk has grown by about 200k, however the kernel can take that, we're
still a few 100k from the current 5MB limit for cats kernels.

a quadrature mouse attached to it.

jdolecek f6f096034a Compute the request timeout time in smb_iod_sendrq() when the request is 
sent out, use mono_time instead microtime(), and simplify computation
in smb_iod_sendall(). Also count the timout once, not twice as previous code.

sjg 50ca80687f We are supposed to pass the node for our expanded src to ParseAddDep 
for each entry in allsrc.  Just like ParseDoSrc.  The only difference
in handling these special expanded srcs in in the call to ParseLinkSrc.
