christos 22d479a4a8 Don't generate an include target if we don't have INCS set, because SUBDIRS 
can make one too. This will break on Makefiles that have both INCS and SUBDIRS,
so then we'll need to change includes: to includes::, but we don't have any
yet.

christos cc117ae3ac Don't keep trying getpwuid(0) when ll_time == 0! This brings down the 
execution time from 5 minutes -> 1 second in our password file.

christos b4fe701a22 - Disable globbing for targets/dependencies when POSIX is defined. 
- Fix globbing so that patterns that don't have a matching number of [] or {}
  don't get expanded. (before the [ case got expanded to nothing!) This is
  disabled.

scottr b316767c92 Work around an ambiguity in the SCSI spec. Some implementations, 
particularly older ones, don't do a SAVE DATA POINTER before disconnecting.
When the driver reconnects, it does an implicit RESTORE POINTERS, and
restores the data pointer from *before* the last transfer.  If the driver
calculates the residual using the data pointer and doesn't account for
this, the residual will be wrong.

What we do is test for the SDEV_AUTOSAVE quirk when we see a disconnect
message, falling through to do a SAVE DATA POINTER if the quirk applies
to this target.

The workaround was suggested by Mycroft, who also provided the explanation
of the problem.  Actual code was (mostly) ripped off from the 53C9x driver.

mikel b81091e992 POSIX.1 specifies that a failed link() to a directory must return EPERM, 
and EMLINK was not documented; from Klaus Klein in PR standards/3397.
Also documented EOPNOTSUPP for filesystems that don't support hard links.
