Handle `.type' directives (shortly to be generated by gcc) that will be

conveyed to the linker in the `n_other' (in case a.out format is produced)
fields of the objects symbol table.
Also handle `.size' directives of the form `.size symbol1-symbol2' in
addition to absolute expressions.
