9f3fed2b60 Synchronise MONITOR and MODES definitions with GENERIC. This allows my NC to

aed31ed511 Change default MTU to 1476 (same value that Cisco uses). 
Do not limit the MTU when set by the admin with ifconfig, per discussion
on tech-net.

This fixes PR 16761 from Jasper Wallace.

7940b7815e We can't rely upon ${OBJDIR}/../instfs getting to the ../instfs objdir; 
add ${RAMDISKDIR} to PARSELISTENV and use that instead.

f0231f96aa do not propose IDEA cipher on SSL connection, as our default installation 
does not handle IDEA.
TODO: dynamically enable IDEA if libcrypto_idea is linked

6d8d0d63d8 sync with latest KAME in6_ifaddr/prefix/default router manipulation. 
behavior changes:
- two iocts used by ndp(8) are now obsolete (backward compat provided).
  use sysctl path instead.
- lo0 does not get ::1 automatically.  it will get ::1 when lo0 comes up.

8305da0e8f Ops, use the proper setup_channel() function for promise adapters. 
Using pdc202xx_setup_channel() for PDC20268 and newer is wrong, and will
cause trap trying to read from a non-existent register on some arches
(e.g. macppc).
pointed out by Makoto Fujiwara on port-macppc.
