upgrade from 8.9.x to 8.10.x,
.Pa /etc/sendmail.cf
and
.Pa /etc/aliases
are moved to
.Pa /etc/mail/sendmail.cf
and
.Pa /etc/mail/aliases .
You may need to move files from the prior location to the latter,
and/or modify configuration files like
.Xr /etc/rc.conf 5 .

tries to cope with the situation and raises warnings when necessary.
